For the 35th installment of our podcast series, we have a selector that has been going from strength to strength recently. Junki Inoue is as talented as they come. The Japanese-born, but London-based DJ somehow manages to make the heaviest of beats sound light and refined. His programming, razor-sharp mixing, refined curation, and humble attitude have earned him spots at some of the dopest venues and festivals around. Through his label SAISEI he also introduces long-forgotten obscurities from The Land of the Rising Sun to discerning collectors and selectors in Europe. The legendary Secretsundaze, now led solely by James Priestley, is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in 2024. He has taken the project into a more focussed club-leaning lane, reflecting his vision through fresh solo productions under the Secretsundaze moniker. 

As well as this Secretsundaze marks a new chapter in the institution’s storied history with the foundation of the new imprint 9FINITY (@9finity-hq). The label aims to run with this descriptor through no-nonsense, discerning dance records from artists at the vanguard of modern club music. 

Making a statement with its maiden release, is a vinyl only V/A compiled with the considered curation synonymous with the Secretsundaze name. 9FINITY001 brings together the talents of Eoin DJ, DJ Life, Luca Attanasio, Coffintexts and E-Talking across 5 tracks and digital bonus that act as a distillation of the label’s sonic vision. The debut release, 9FINITY001, is set to drop on September 19th.

In celebration of this milestone and in true Secretsundaze style is the announcement of the 9FINITY launch party at London’s iconic Pickle Factory on September 28th. The event welcomes E-Talking and club favorite Lora Mipsum to the pickle spaceship, alongside Secretsundaze for a night of heads down, hands up dance music. Chris Did... has been Producing since circa 2009 and Dj'ing since 2005. 
He's played venues and festivals all up and down the country. With a broad musical influences stemming back to his formative years as a percussionist and keys player.. He brings a wide pool of inspiration to his music writing and creations, with work not just in the dance music world, but the Film and TV|Media space also.
His Dj sets reflect this and you can expect a wide range of sounds and tastes if you are to catch him at the helm.
