Joyful Melody is a song of rejoicing for God's profound forgiveness. There are 2 main verses that are referenced in the lyrics. The first comes from Micah 7:19, where it says "You will cast all our sins to the depths of the sea" and the second reference is from Psalm 103:12, which says "as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us." ..If you reflect on the fact that Jesus cancels our sin-debt so completely, you can't help but offer Him thanksgiving and song!
