Bio:

Tiano (real name Christiano) became interested in electronic music at a young age.

 The Gelsenkirchen native, also known by the synonym “Tiano”, was so enthusiastic about the idea that he started DJing and producing himself in 2015.

 He dedicated his music to his homeland, the Ruhr area. In which, in its heyday, there was space for dark, industrial sounds.

Over the years he has been a guest at numerous event series and has played his way into the hearts of his listeners with his unique style.

Kachel Techno is a subgenre of techno that emerged in the Ruhr area in the early 2020s and offers a unique mix of rhythmic, groovy, metallic and industrial sounds. It reflects the industrial past and the gloomy atmosphere of the region, which was then still heavily influenced by the coal and steel industries. Kachel Techno's sound is deeply connected to the harsh mechanical world of factories and machines, which is reflected in the repetitive, driving beats and the often dark, atmospheric melodies.

Kachel Techno's music is rhythmic and groovy, with heavy use of drum machines and synthesizers, giving the impression of machine work and steel production. This produces metallic, rapidly clinking sounds that capture the industrial aesthetics of the Ruhr area. The Schranz subgenre also emerged during this time, which was characterized by its even harder, faster and more intense rhythms and was strongly interwoven with tile techno.

Chris Neth, born and raised in Germany - Ruhr area, is an up-and-coming DJ and producer from the city of Recklinghausen.


At the age of 27, he has already created an impressive soundscape characterised by hard, dark kicks, wicked synths and distorting melodies. His sound is a unique fusion of different layered sounds that he skilfully weaves together to create an dark & dystopic energy on the dancefloor.
