nēkomata was given life through an iridescently shaded black hole. Blossoming from the roots of techno, deep house beats and heavy-step-vibes, she thrives in the darkest of dungeons, unleashing her hypnotic wraths onto all souls. 

With beginning her roots in PHX, nēkomata is an electronic music producer soaring along the waves of energetic house/trance music with dark tones & deep bass wrapped around a sweet contrast of melodies & chords. Bringing unity & tantalizingly trance-inducing sounds in dj sets, nēkomata enslaves the crowd to giving in to their dancing desires.

Serious, but like not serious. Pretty much wraps up all you need to know about Chris. From a young age, Chris was just...Chris, who always just listened to the weird music. 
East-coast growing up through teenage industrial phase angsts, and picking up djing early in college, Chris finally took it upon himself to do the one thing he wanted to be as an individual. Through years of trials and tribulations of sitting at a grey ableton screen, Chris carved out a sound for himself in the Techno world. Using anything he can get his hands on, Chris took serious, tight, dancing music, and made sure it has a slap of a not-so-serious-feel. Using cheeky samples, slamming kicks, tight percussion, and other overly-described music requisites, Chris brings something truly unique to every track he puts out. After years of tight studio production, now based in San Diego, Chris's live displays bring a unique set to every show he plays. No matter where you hear his music, the vast library of personally-crafted music over the years makes his sound fitting for any occasion, and is always there to remind you; he's still Chris.
