Since 2020 Chris Brooks has been delivering on the promises that have fuelled his ambition since he was 18. A DJ Producer who transcends Deep, Tech, Melodic and Minimal House, he has been releasing music which has been redefining the way House Music has been enjoyed. Released on labels including Distance, Kubbo, Black Seven Music, KLAP, Ole Records, Unnamed & Unknown, Youth Culture, Pure Enjoyment Recordings, HardCutz and more, his back catalogue is fast becoming a pedigree that is turning heads and filling dancefloors.
Chris has been showcasing his talents in the UK’s North West and his reputation has been growing from strength to strength as he overlays his solid grooves with infectious House melodies. Inspired by industry heavyweight Carl Cox and influenced by Hot Since 82, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna and Joseph Capriati, he is making his unique sound his own. Percussive, organic, authentic and highly addictive, his music is emerging from the underground to live on the big stage supported by a wealth of big names including Joseph Capriati and Stefano Noferini.

Spanish stalwart Dennis Cruz returns to Crosstown Rebels this March with a solid four track EP that sees him join forces with Los Suruba for the title track.

Title track Uhuru opens the EP with a tantalising groove, tribal vocal hook and mesmerizing percussion, inducing a trance-like state. The permeating bass of Notche enters next as it throbs throughout the track, building into a hedonistic spacetrip. Los Libros is a rawer offering with a stripped back percussive section and beguiling female vocal hook. Loco closes the EP with its deep, hypnotic rhythm and an air of darkness that is blended with scintillating synths in the breakdown before diving headfirst back into the intense beat.

Dennis Cruz’s musical journey has seen him win high-praise for his output with a number of awards and nominations including Best Producer in 2017’s DJ Awards. He’s released on influential imprints including Solid Grooves, Moon Harbour and Hot Creations garnering support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Nic Fanciulli and Marco Carola.
