Inspired by Sixties icons The Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and most obviously The Beatles, The Waletones have captured an essence of The Cavern’s Mersey Beat era, thrown in a little Brit-Pop for childhood nostalgia and topped it with a dusting of noughties indie rock. From their debut 'I Want Your Love' that sounds like an offering from one of The Cavern's pop rock bands, to their bitter sweet a capella 'I'd Carry You' that sounds more like The Everly Brothers, The Waletones offer feel-good, sing-a-long tunes that go down as well as a refreshing ice cold Pimms on a hot summer day.

Underworld are Rick Smith and Karl Hyde. Their peerless first album - dubnobasswithmyheadman - was released to universal acclaim in 1994.
