My Original Instrumental Soundtrack Music

Originally this song was inspired by the sounds coming out of my radiator. I recorded the sound and wrote a song around it. I then shared it and one of my favorite artists around, MRK asked if she could write some words and sing on it. Well I was really honored and of course said yes and magic ensued! This song, now called, "Special Chances" will be the soundtrack to an upcoming experimental super 8 film I'm making. That film is now called Special Chances and if this fun musical collaboration continues (fingers crossed) , I think it should be called SPECIAL CHANCES!  :)Hope you like it!

A song about a fisherman in Ireland in the 1890s who gets caught in a storm in the early morning hours. His boat capsizes and after a battle for his life, he eventually succumbs to become one with the ocean. While he is descending eternally, he sees his love who sings him a lullaby. This song was written by Chris Carlone in collaboration with Hilde Susan Jaegtnes who played piano and came up with the vocal melody

after a ten minute practice session while biking home from work, I felt confident enough to record. 

but then, the perfect reprisal and interpretation I had mastered would not stick in the recording, and due to Russian intervention (JOKE) or worse, Big Boy coercion I became so tired of recording only to hear the sounds perverted that I stopped. 

Approximately a week went by. Last night I finished the track. The end of the song, where I say "in your eyes," is me wanting to go to bed, worn down by the system.
