Big Fa$e Mel is a Artist/Actor from the Notorious Lockwood Gardens housing projects, better known as 65th Village in East Oakland, Ca. First hitting the scene in 2009, he started a group called B.N.C.G (Black N Chrome Gang) and dropped a mixtape called Black N Chrome Gang "If U Fonkin, Im Fonkin" under his own imprint Town Bizness Ent. In 2010 he released his first solo mixtape called "Settin' Up Shop vol 1." hosted by DJ Rah2k of The Mixtape Mobb. Fading away from the music scene soon after, for numerous parole and probation violations, Big Fa$e Mel re-emerged in 2012 auditioning for the role as Tupac Shakur in the bio pic "All Eyez On Me". Doing great with his audition, also having the support of Bay Area legends that actually knew 2 Pac, he caught the attention of the movie producer LT Hutton, who made him a understudy for the role. After the casting directors made the final decision to go with new actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. in 2015, Fa$e got right back in the lab appearing on several rappers projects with superb stand out verses. Big Fa$e Mel will be releasing his second mixtape second quarter 2018 called "Settin' Up Shop vol 2. The D-Boyz Club" also his ep "Livin' Behind The Gun: The Revolver" and album "Live By The Gun, Die By The Gun" in this summer under his new imprint M.A.R.U. Religion.
