We welcome the Amsterdam based duo Ides of March who make their debut at Uxoa Dutxa Elite with a brand new EP titled Hyperion with two original tracks and a remix by Di Rugerio.

To kick off this fabulous musical journey we have Hyperion, a powerful track with a forceful kick and bassline from the beginning that is accompanied by a dynamic drum kit that incorporates a robust and abstract melody that captivates with its analog sounds and that lifts you up. They make you walk on clouds.

The label head Di Rugerio makes a remix marking his progressive melodic style with the most aggressive and present bassline keeping the arpeggio and other original elements such as vocals and pads in the background, he recreates the original melody making it darker and more insane with different filters in the synthesizer that fits perfectly with the rhythm, thus creating a real bomb for the dance floor.

To finish this work of art we have Theia, which is a track with a melancholic feeling but equally energetic with well-designed arpeggiated riffs and a deep bassline with a background melody full of emotions and sensations of darkness, likewise the riffs become aggressive, being like razors that scrape into your soul making you feel the melody and the light inside you.

Once upon a time, in a small village in Africa, there lived a man named Kwame. He was known for his kind heart, but he was also burdened by the struggles of life. One day, while wandering through the dense jungle, Kwame stumbled upon an ancient temple. Inside, he discovered a beautifully crafted sacred vase adorned with intricate symbols.

Curious, he reached out to touch it. As soon as his fingers brushed the surface, a warm light enveloped him, and he was transported to a serene underwater realm known as the "Water of Peace." In this magical place, the worries of the world melted away. The water shimmered with hues of blue and green, and gentle currents guided him through breathtaking landscapes filled with vibrant coral reefs and friendly creatures.

In this tranquil world, Kwame encountered wise spirits who shared profound knowledge about life, love, and the interconnectedness of all beings. He felt an overwhelming sense of peace and belonging, free from the pain and suffering he had known. Days turned into what felt like moments, and he lost track of time, immersed in the beauty and serenity around him.

However, as he explored further, a flicker of doubt crept into his heart. He realized that while he had found peace, the world above was still in turmoil. The struggles he had left behind—the poverty, the conflict, the suffering—still existed, and he felt a deep yearning to help.

Suddenly, a gentle current began to pull him back toward the surface. Reluctantly, he followed, understanding that the wisdom he had gained must be shared. With one last glance at the enchanting underwater world, Kwame resurfaced and found himself back in the jungle, standing before the sacred vase.

But as he returned to the real world, he was struck by the harsh realities that surrounded him. The village was still burdened with hardship, and the faces of his people reflected the pain he had tried to escape. Though he had experienced the Water of Peace, he realized that true fulfillment came not from escaping reality, but from facing it with courage and compassion.

With newfound determination, Kwame dedicated his life to uplifting his community. He shared the wisdom he had gained and inspired others to find strength in unity. The journey had taught him that while peace can be found within, it is in the act of caring for others that we create a better world.

And so, Kwame became a beacon of hope, reminding everyone that even in the midst of suffering, there is always a path toward healing and connection.

Chris Drifter comes from Budapest, Hungary. Always interested in Electronic dance music. Solidified as a Progressive and Tech house DJ back in 2002. Also ventured into Techno and minimal. Throughout the years Chris has learned to work the crowd allowing them to experience his passion and emotions, connecting their senses and evolving the party to a level of blissful experience for one and all in attendance. Concerning to Production we can standout prestigious labels such as Baroque Records, Hotfingers, Supermarket, Natura Viva and Pacha Records among others. In the beginning of 2007 Chris began working for SoundTribe Rekords as the A&R Manager, putting him in charge of managing the whole music side of the label. In 2008 Chris Drifter's Blue Room Ep was released at the legendary record label, called Plastic Fantastic. In this year his first mix album, the Moments of Soundtribe VOL.1. came out. In 2009 he won a remix competition, which was maden by Navigation Records. After successing and hard work, Chris was nominated the BEST UPCOMING DJ category in the biggest hungarian electronic dance magazin Soundhead competition. In 2014 his Pearls EP was released at Pacha Recordings and also selected and released at Pure Pacha Summer 2014 CD compliations. He has played many times on abroad in Croatia, Austria, Germany, Serbia, Slovakia, Russia, Sweden, Poland . He made warmup sets for such a big djs like Hardwell, Inpetto and James Zabiela. His track Above the Shadows reached the Number 1 position at Traxsource Progressive House 100. The Flashback track also reached the Top3 position at the Trackitdown Tech House TOP100 and his Time Capsule track reached the TOP1 position at the Trackitdown Deep Techno TOP100. From 2015 he started his brand new podcast series called Drifting Memories. From 2017 he joined to the famous Legendary Moments crew and started working as A&R manager/Label Manager at SoulAart Recordings.
