The Hi-Hat Club Collecter's Box Set consists of 7 LPs (Hi-Hat Club Vol.1-7: Testiculo Y Uno aka Twit One & Hulk Hodn, Suff Daddy, Dexter, Brenk Sinatra & Fid Mella, Full Crate & FS Green, DJ Adlib, Knowsum) packaged in a hardcover box made of heavy cardboard. The box houses 10 Lps in total. A photo of Twit One's legendary now defunct Treehouse Studio, shot by Robert Winter in 2009, adorns the front side. The box set also includes 7 collector card stickers with the album covers of volume 1 - 7. On the back you have 9 blank fields where you can paste the collector card sticker from every album that you own. The forthcoming volumes 8 and 9 will come with collector card stickers too. The box is designed by Chicken George and is limited to 300 copies. It is only available at selected independent record stores. You cannot order it from Amazon.

Following his last release ‘Verdict’, London-based and Munich born tech-house producer Tian Karl has teamed up with Underground Audio to bring you his latest EP ‘Mercury’, including a remix by David Pher of the headline track.

‘Mercury’ draws together a driving kick drum with raw trashy hi-hats, ominously layering in dark filtered synth stabs with wild spacey sprays to slowly intensify its atmosphere. Dark yet melodic interludes are broken nicely with an array of vocal cuts that allow the element of this track to truly flow like quicksilver.

David Phers spin of the track offers a more housey formula, yet remains true to Karl’s creation of a dark and ominous atmosphere. Here, the German offers a much brighter drum pattern and catchy bass line, juxtaposing the kits bells and crashes with the tracks original dark and menacing tones.

Again, Karl builds upon his pulsating and solid drum pattern with ‘Want You Too’, this time interblending mechanical synth sounding stabs with vocal cuts and pleasing synth interludes, creating a brooding combination of both dark yet punchy progressive tech-house.

MY AFRIKA opens up the EP with what would appear to be a tribal leader commanding your attention as the wobbly synths draw you in. As the heady bass kicks in you can’t help but succumb to the rhythm. On EUROVOODOO , alien sounding synths are weaved amongst high hats luring you into a trance-like, hypnotic state. EL SONIDO leans towards a faster, flamenco style sound with tribal singing beckoning you to   the   dancefloor.

Riva Starr is the alias of East London based Stefano Miele. He has long been a staple in the club scene bringing dancefloor fire to some of the world’s biggest stages, from Glastonbury to Japan’s Fuji Rock. His credibility as an artist has led to collaborations with some of the industry’s biggest players, including the likes of Green Velvet, as well as remixing for a number of high-profile musicians such as Wiley and London Grammar. Founder of Snatch!, 2017 was a monumental year for the label having reached its 100th release.

One of the most popular releases in 2011, "The Mesektet" by London resident fLako gets the reissue treatment this summer, featuring a quantity of exclusive tracks only to be found on the reissue.

'The Mesektet’, in ancient egyptian mythology, is one of the two solar boats used by the sun god 'Ra’ to travel through the cycle of night and day and carry the moon across the sky. It is told that he died every dusk, had to fight the dark forces of the underworld and bring light to the dead souls as he passed through - just to be reborn in the morning. Just like the sun god, uprising producer @fLako uses 'The Mesektet' to end the cycle of darkness and prepare for his own rebirth, marking the end of an era in his style of production and move forward into new musical directions, which he already started to explore on his 'Mini Toolbooth EP'. This release includes a collection of previously unreleased or only digitally available works from the time up until 2008.
