After the devastating earthquakes affecting Turkey and Syria, Istanbul based Techno brand RX has teamed up with artists globally to release an exclusive compilation in order to help the people in need.

37 of the hottest names of the current techno scene have donated a brand new unsigned track, where all the sales and streaming funds will be directed to NGOs to provide support and assistance to earthquake victims both in Turkey and Syria.

We are grateful for the global unity of the techno scene for such an important cause.

Over a year since our last release, Sorry Records is back with a profoundly wonky and sublimely jackin transmission from the American queer dance underground. Introducing Chessy! - the new EP from Pump Media Unlimited a.k.a. C Powers (Fixed Rhythms, Sweat Equity, Contagion Discs) and CH Rom (MOM RADIO).

C Powers operates out of a terminal running P Klang G13 creator engine on 69xo, blasting her block-rocking pig-smashing beats straight to mp3 and often in one or less takes, live direct out of Portland but globally present and cybernetically ubiquitous. CH Rom is headquartered in NYC and performs content creation with a refurbished organic matcha-truffle hybrid 96kbps system, playing upwards of 4200 notes a day.

Together they are Pump Media Unlimited, widely celebrated in the bass drum scene and known for blistering tempos reaching as high as 420, even 1312 BPM. The Pumps are at once profoundly in touch with the ancient history of bass, and yet notably 65 million years ahead of their time.

Each of their records is as much a statement as an adventure, and “Chessy!” is no exception. There’s something for everyone here—like crunchy vapor bass? Prefer your zipzaps with 128th note triplet hihats? Dig synth, but only vegan? Hate cops and the whole global imperial terrorstate crypto death cult? You’re listening to the right music.

"Taking influence from the tribal and loop-centred techno of the 90s and early 2000's, Chris has carved out a respected place within the underground scene with an extensive self-released catalogue. His raw, organic style has been featured on renowned labels & platforms such as RAW [FR], Frenzy [NL] and Rinse [UK].

Chris has built a steady rapport globally with consistent support from major artists, gaining plays throughout a multitude of iconic venues, including within the confines of Berlin's legendary Berghain. His music has also featured on huge industry platforms like Boiler Room, and BBC R1. He debuted his first 12” EP on Hardline Sounds’ imprint Drum Workouts.
