World 1-2 is an album that features renowned game composers alongside the remixers that pay them tribute. It features original music by grammy-nominated Austin Wintory (Journey), Manami Matsumae (MegaMan), and celebrated remixers Stemage and Danimal Cannon (Metroid Metal), among many more. 

World 1-2 is a music project directed and produced by Mohammed Taher of Koopa Soundworks. It's a collaboration album that combines young independent musicians with superstar composers from the video game industry. World 1-2 features a unique blend of original creations and nostalgia-dipped remixes. All proceeds generated from this album will go toward funding new projects by Koopa Soundworks. The spiritual successor to my old track "Radioactive"? Built from the same concept, but it turned into a completely different thing in the end(apart from the stabbing synth vaguely resembling the original climax pattern.) 
I spent so long with this,  I deconstructed it and rebuilt it like 3 times, Trying to get a better understanding of stereo-space. And pushing the detail on the video a bit longer this time as well.
This is more in the ways of the  old when it comes to composition style, taking a lot from my style 8 years ago where I would mostly stick to 1-2 patterns of bass but elaborate on top of it with arpeggios and chords. Id like to think I'm much better at it now.

Meltdown

Quite possibly my most popular remix ever, this one is certainly a fan favorite. I was inspired to remix this theme after hearing another artist’s take on the material as a judge on OCR. It’s such an epic melody and progression that I just wanted to take it to the next level and go over-the-top with suspenseful pads, choir and strings, sound effects and a full orchestra (film score style.) With big beats and heavy guitars, of course. Even though I made this in 2007, I’m very proud of it!
