"I’ve always been able to make friends wherever I go no matter the color of someone’s skin or where they’re from. Brian, or Junior as I called him, was one of the best friends you could have growing up. But as time grew and we moved apart, we naturally lost touch. We went on to pursue new friendships and goals for ourselves in different parts of the world. I went on to spread love with music, Brian went on to give his love and life in service to his country. To my despair, when I went to look him up to see how he was doing a few years ago, I was met with his untimely obituary. I never got to say hello again, or goodbye. Today, on Juneteenth, only 155 years after slavery was “symbolically” ended, I honor him with this song. Upon proper release to streaming platforms (next month as I just finished the song yesterday) 100% of the funds generated from this song will be directed to the charity of Brian’s mother’s choice. To Brian, I wish we could’ve talked again, but I am proud of you for your sacrifice. I will continue to stand for the rights of all through music and however I am capable in my abilities. His music video debut for the new single ‘LEAVE’ looks to set a darker, heartbroken tone to the end of a bond between the two loves.  ”It’s a running in between alcohol and emotional abuse, which all we are left with is this bare bone feeling that everyone has felt. An anger-fueled breakdown filled with depression and passion” says Chris.
