4.1.2019 - 7 oclock in the morning - i came to the club and it was full packed with 3 open floors... i thought we just close the wintergarten within the 3 hours playtime we had .... but sisyphos is stronger than time :-P
3 hours became 9
and here is the main part of this awesome vinyl/cdj b2b session with my buddy Por.NO ...  it was a blast to see so much happy smiling  people around me dancing . i wanna thank every single one of you for an amazing 2018 <3

Hi there. I had a great gig at Kater Blau a few weeks ago, so I'm sharing the more interesting part of my set with you. 

After writing up the tracklist I realized how this set is a mix of new and old. The first half hour is mostly tunes from 2006 to 2016. It wasn't something I intended. Usually on stage, I'm consciously thinking about sectioning my set by mood, intensity, BPM, and texture...but perhaps unconsciously I was also thinking about grouping music together by age...or maybe it was just a coincidence. Regardless, I now have a new way to think about building an arc of a set, which is kind of fun.

I thought it all came together alright, so I hope you enjoy the recording as much as I enjoyed playing.

Welcome 2020, 'better late than never'. To start it, we're about to meet the Indian-raised curator, DJ and event producer 'anandroid', based in Washington DC, where he's been shaking things off. Co-founder, resident DJ and curator of the Crepúsculo Sereno project, also a resident DJ and curator for DC-based global arts collective Meso Creso and Nomadico Festival, anandroid is a purveyor of cold electronica infused with the warmth of the human spirit, being heavily influenced by his experience as an immigrant, as an optimist and as a scientist, weaving together the futuristic and the folkloric from around the world.

This 165th edition goes through variations in musical keys, traditions, beats, cultures and styles - well, nothing unusual from what we've been curating here on the podcast, nevertheless, in an impressive way he drops an eclectic selection recorded on Ableton, following a psychedelic trend using/combining twenty-two tracks, several melodies and arrangements in only one hour. Capturing the wonder and mystery you get on a stroll to nowhere, mainly due to the dynamism generated by the constant change of tracks throughout the mixtape, anandroid invites you to slow down and embrace the richness of the sights.

It was an honour to be able to play this set at one of the best parties in Berlin, the beautiful BeHome, in the wonderful Beate Uwe. This set is darker than my traditional sets, especially made for dancing late at night under the charm of Imbolc.  Imbolc is a time of celebration and ritual, often honoring Brighid, the goddess of the hearth. This is also a time of new beginnings and of purification. It is the time when we begin to bid farewell to winter to make way for spring. It is a dark time, but one where joy and light abound within the darkness. Thanks to everyone who accompanied this set with immense energy, it was magical to conduct that beautiful orchestra of dancing souls. Love always ;)

I've recently received some messages from people who were asking about a podcast of mine that was apparently lost from soundcloud, called "Wanderlust". 
It was one of my first ever podcasts, somewhere around 2015/16 (no way to find the exact date at this point :) .. and after some searching, I found out that the podcast channel had deleted all their podcasts, including mine. I was never even notified of this action by them and it definitely felt a bit strange..
But luckily I still found the original on a backup harddrive.. so I hope you enjoy this 5 year old mix of mine, in case you didn't know it yet, or were one of those who missed the old one on soundcloud. The thought behind this mix was to express the feeling of loving to travel and get lost in it while being on the road..

Surrounded by so many good friends, playing at my beloved Lucky Star at Shipwrecked festival to a bunch of merry dance floor groovers.

I love my job but some days I love it a little bit more than others.❤️

We knew it would be special but it became more than that! It became an unforgettable night! Thanks to all dancer, screamers and music lovers during our set. And special thanks to @Watergate-club and Marcus for having us and the invitation. We had more than lots of fun playing and hope we can do this again asap!

Village Club & Trennwandhalle, das gehört eigentlich zusammen wie Thüringer & Bratwurst, wie Hurvinek & Spejbl, wie Nitro & Glycerin. Doch dieses Jahr ist alles anders! Die altehrwürdige Location im Gewerbegebiet Kitzscher steht vorerst nicht mehr zur Verfügung, höhere Mächte haben sich eingeschaltet und der Mugge den Bass raus gedreht. Doch getanzt wird trotzdem und jetzt erst recht, also geht es nur wenige Kilometer weiter in den partyerprobten WET Club Espenhain. Inspiriert von unserem Exil haben wir gleich noch eine Schippe draufgelegt und einen zünftigen Technokeller gebastelt. Und oben? Ja, da geht die wilde Fahrt ab mit den fabulösen Ostblockschlampen, "Pour la Vie" Mastermind Ron Flatter und der 1. Geige Seth Schwarz. Doch seht selbst und... give us 5!
