Well, better late than never! 

It took a while but I hope its worth the wait. I always find the hardest part with a Classics set like this, is having to leave tracks out, there are still so many great tracks that just didn't fit the flow or timing of the set, so who knows maybe in another 6 months the could even be a part 3 :P 

My main aim with this set was to pick up from where part one had left off, around 135bpm and build up into the 140 Uplifting Classics. 

The first 60 minutes of the set is a bit of a mixture of some of the older Classics sets that I have run, along with a few "new" Classic tracks thrown in to change it up a little, its so hard to overlook some of these tracks in an Essential mix. The second two hours of the set have a few tracks that I feel don't get enough play time in the "standard" Classic sets. 

Like I said already, so many other great tracks that I could have used but just ran out of time, so if I get the same kind of response on this set as I did with Part 1, Im more than happy to put together another set and release Part 3 (within the next year :P ).

PS - sorry not sorry about the 3 Push/Plastic Boy tracks in a row, I was running out of time and had to fit them in :P

Deeper Shades Of Trance / Underground Therapy Podcast

Around 10 years ago I set up a podcast called Deeper Shades of Trance, with the intention of delivering a quality 2 hour mix of Uplifting/Classic/Progressive Trance. 

The show ended up as 3 projects, the regular podcast, the tribute series and the classic series. Each show would feature some of the biggest names in the scene as either guest mixers or co-presenters. 

After the explosion of the EDM scene and Trance becoming more and more commercialised, I wanted to break away from the name Trance, and relaunched the podcast as Underground Therapy. With the goal of providing quality underground Trance/Techno/Progressive and featuring a monthly guest mix from some of the biggest names in the scene. 

From time to time I re-visit and will put out some special edition Deeper Shades Of Trance shows, especially the Classics series, as Im still a huge fan of that Classic Trance sound.
