Josephine's deep yet warm sound has been with us for several years now. Last year, at the Afterhour Sounds showcase at Kater, Arkadiusz met her and they chatted for a long time. Coincidentally, she also performed at her friends' showcase from Istanbul that evening at the Hopper floor. He decided to invite her to our series without further ado, as she plays a sound that we rarely have, yet still carries the typical, and above all, original Afterhour Sounds deep down. But enough words now. Turn on the music, turn off the world.

Absolutely loved playing this special after hour for such an open minded community for my Sweden debut! My only goal was to fuel the vortex for the last ones standing with a trip to (twisted) fantasy ;)..Looking up and seeing heads down, eyes closed and everyone moving for no one but themselves was such a rare and beautiful energy to be a part of.... Thank you to the entire Nattöga crew for welcoming me with such warmth, and a BIG thank you to all of the professional ravers who guided me on this journey and danced with me into the early hours <3

Neodisco Remix Contest Winner

Under the name Chrisik, Vienna-based songwriter and producer Christian Valisik creates dreamy, melancholic and complex electronic music. He has always been a big fan of progressive electronic music full of interesting sounds and melodies and started producing himself in the 2007´s. 

He took the 1st place in the Radio FM4 Remix Contest in 2012 for the German electropop band MIA. and their single “Fallschirm”. This remix was released on the FM4 Soundselection compilation. Later in 2012, his melodic, dreamy techno debut EP “Eastern Spell” was released on the Austrian label Navida Deep. After this releases, Valisik worked on remixes and other various collabrations with artists like Neodisco and Silvius Sonvilla and released his own track Purple Sky without Label in 2023. Also in 2023, Chrisik started to work on a remix for the talented Austrian Artist DARA WINTER with her song “No Mouth, No Eyes, No Heart” and this remix was released in May 2024. Chrisik preferring to highlight the beautiful vocal and melodic elements by create airy soundlayers and fitting the breakbeat to the groovy bassline. 

With his track, "Not Today," which will relesed on TOUR DE TRAUM 27 on 5th July 2024, Chris constructs a composition that builds a high degree of melodic drama. Throughout the track, he weaves a rich tapestry of emotional moments, elevating the piece to a profound and spiritual level. 

With his latest track „Chapter Two“ out since 06-12-24 on TOUR DE TRAUM 28 (Traum Schallplatten), he is blending melancholic yet complex vocal and melodic elements against airy soundscapes and groovy baselines, bringing a breathy breakbeat feel to the mix.

By continually improving his sounds and combining different elements from various genres, he has developed his own complex style that works both in the club and in the living room.
