two days ago i found a nice mini disc! Hehe, this is a part of my live set @ Club-Manga in the beautiful city Jena/Germany... totally filled with live recorded microphone doodlings, resamplings and cutting action! The gig in Jena was part of my tour last year with my musical mate http://soundcloud.com/tanaka-hideyuki (Tokio), so the set contains next to own material also some stuff i made with him under the name "Phööptärt", for instance the trax which where released on 9volt. There are also some material and errors inside i programmed 2 weeks before this gig during a spontaneous live jam with the French master of disaster KRIKOR (http://soundcloud.com/krikorparis) after my set in Linz / Austria. Crazy bleeps from an amazing hour i will never forget...
So... enough words. It is a set, so listen!

The Berliner Daniel Boon has been touring the world as a DJ for over 20 years. He is co-founder of the Magdalena Club in Berlin and the labels Ostfunk and Neuhain. In addition to his numerous gigs in Berlin's Ritter Butzke and Sisyphos, he has produced and released on labels such as Riot and Loose Records.

magdalena was founded in 2012 by 4 friends in the old location of Maria am Ostbahnhof, in 2014 she unfortunately had to give way to the YAAM Club and got her new location at the Osthafen opposite the Wilden Renate, after more than a year of reconstruction it could be reopened in February 2016, unfortunately the whole reconstruction was too cost-intensive so that on 31.12.2016 it was already over again. Since then there are parties in different locations at irregular intervals. Since 2019 they have returned to the old location at today's Osthafen and are now hosting parties again on a regular basis.
