Start from humble beginnings on a Friday night in the year of 1993, during the spring in the month of April. Christopher Darnelle Butler came into this world as an Easter Sunday gift in the city of Detroit. A child of destiny, he knew from the beginning he was meant to do more and accomplish any and everything he set his sights on. If there is anyone who knows the meaning of struggle and the term "Cold In The D," is definitely this kid here. He knew coming from Detroit and growing up by a single mother, he knew he had to be more, become a symbol of hope, and a promise for the future. The youngest of four siblings, two sisters and one brother. Also, the youngest grandchild on both his mother and father sides. But, promise is in him and the fire and desire within him is even stronger. 

He came upon listening to old school Motown music and he has always had an appreciation for music. But, he never had actually planned on making music or even thought of it as a career in the beginning. He planned on becoming an attorney and taking on cases and standing up for those who have no other there. That is still an aspiration he has in his mind and heart, but music is even dearer and closer to his heart. It was sort of an accident on how Chris stumbled upon his musical aspirations. 

In the spring-summer of 2007, Chris started writing his first songs and from there he was amazed of these unknown abilities, talents, and gifts he had to express and convey thoughts in the strongest ways and methods of any mind. But, he did not stop there, he found that he had a voice inside, raw but full of potential along with time and patience he would learn to harness and make his own along with his own sound. With every trial and error, he grew and grew and never let his mistakes nor the negative criticism of his peers define him in a industry that is so grueling, cruel, and tough to stay alive and relevant in. He learned and took those lessons to heart and it only fueled his desire even more and more to prove what he is capable of doing and what he will accomplish, if he keeps a drive fueled by a divine desire. Chris even began producing his own tracks after a while in times in the studio and kept unlocking and discovering abilities he never knew he had and discovering his keen hear for sounds. 

So, Chris is an all around artist, a rare talent in a lifetime that if he gets out and the national and international audience gets to know the name and persona of him will spell mega stardom and put him in the category of elite and possibly one day go down as a legend. He has a collection of songs from smooth love making, romantic, tender songs to the dance club scene and get hype songs. Then, to the intense, soothing, smooth sex songs that set the mood right for any bedroom night and scene to the straight to the heart pain and heartbreak songs. 

This kid is on a path to greatness and it is only a matter of time before it can no longer be contained or denied. These are the reasons why he goes by an unique code and personification "Prodigy." Don't mistake it for the definition as well because he lives up to it and every way shape and form. Expect great things from this kid and for his name to live and his presence to be around for a very long time and maybe until the end of time. His standards are nothing short of anything that he wants he will have it and there is nothing too big or great to stand in his way or stop him from reaching the top.
