Following numerous appearances at the club, Tresor is proud to present the debut split 12" from Chloe Lula and Ireen Amnes, featuring a rich set of tracks that fit just too perfectly in the vault of the Kraftwerk building and beyond. 

Meeting in the darker, harder-edged side of the Berlin techno scene in 2019, the pair have regularly collaborated and performed together, but Synergy marks the first time they've shared a record sleeve. Amnes describes Synergy as "the world we built while thinking about our journey as friends and the connection we share as people and artists," and while the record highlights their relationship and shared influences, it also showcases how each has grown into their respective lane. 

Amnes' tracks lean into significantly more distorted territory, characterized by a dense fog of grainy pads punctured by sharp, expertly-programmed percussion. On "Our Bodies," these fragments are sculpted into driving hardware gear, replete with distant vocals and acidic squelches, where "Fragments of Desire" makes space for a more somber attitude, descending into murky, psychedelic electro. 

In counterpoint to Amnes' deep atmospherics, Lula's contributions are driven by intricate sound design and a focus on dancefloor impact. Taking cues from Regis and the Birmingham techno sound, she reins in the distortion of 2021's Errant Bodies for aufnahme + wiedergabe in favor of rolling techno and breakbeat-inspired rhythms that nod to her EBM influences. Making use of the extra space, she builds tension through heaving, textured basslines and crescendos of noise, and on EP closer "Event Horizon," she carves through the beat with her own metallic vocals. 

Synergy includes a digital bonus track from each artist. Lula's sees her pushing deeper into finely-tooled techno territory, her drums at a swift, driving gallop, surrounded by ominous swaths of reverb. In contrast, Amnes crafts a gritty warehouse trip, sharpening the angles of her drums and detuning her synths until they sound bent and alien. Complete with the EP's physical cuts, these tracks are a testament to how the pair can simultaneously complement and contrast with each other, departing from their shared sonic origins and ending up in wildly different destinations.

Kaufmann brings her trademark fusion of dark minimal and bouncy techno to Senso Sounds once again with the Ibu 3000 EP. The track is a full throttle techno monster with hard-as-nails drums and equally matched bassline, synth stabs and effects. The track is also presented here via an additional remix by label mate Metodi Hristov which adds another level of tension to the original, bringing out some of the more progressive elements of the track. Kaufmann also shares another original cut, Snorkel Combat, which is a tightly wound bomb that slowly builds the tension across its 7 minutes for maximum dancefloor effect.

Mittlerweile zu einer guten Tradition in Zwickau geworden. Zwei mal im Jahr hält die elektronische Veranstaltungsreihe in unseren Gemäuern Einzug. Diese steht unter einem ganz besonderen Stern: die nunmehr elfte Homesick-Party feiert vierten Geburtstag! 4 Years Homesick - 4 Years of Madness! Wie doch die Zeit vergeht..
So zaubern wir euch auch dieses mal wieder ein bildhübsches elektronisches Pottpourie bestehend aus toller Mukke, guter Laune, Schwärmerei, Freude, Genuss und Bass in schöner Gesellschaft. Und wenn das noch nicht alles war, setzen wir zum Geburtstagsrave noch einen drauf: wir feiern zum ersten Mal mit über 20 Acts, als i-Tüpfelchen kommt Mr. Loveparade - Dr. Motte - höchstpersönlich vorbei und wir haben für euch noch einen neuen dritten Floor parat! Ist das was? Das ist was!
Ein kompaktes Programm bestehend aus hart, smart, apart, deftig, derbe, sanft und knusprig - mal zart, mal durch, mal süß, mal sauer - genauso wie erfrischend und vitalisierend. Wir legen uns für diesen Homesick B-Day ordentlich ins Zeug, um es euch so richtig zu besorgen.. musikalisch versteht sich ;) Kommt vorbei und feiert diese Nacht gemeinsam mit uns und euren Freunden. ACCIDENTAL RECORDS TO RELEASE NEW EP FROM DAVE AJU - LISTEN TO YOUR HEARTBEAT - ON 17 SEPTEMBER 
 
Accidental Records is set to release a new ep from Dave Aju on 12" and digital download. The San Francisco based producer who has released multiple EPs and albums on cult dance label Circus Company and has remixed some of the most sought after tracks such as Nicolas Jaar's 'Space Is Only Noise', is about to release his first EP on Matthew Herbert's Accidental Records. 

For over a decade the US west coast innovator has been producing and performing his unique brand of electronic dance music. He seasons the rhythms of house and techno with an array of outside musical influences - notably jazz and p-funk, a low-slung aesthetic clearly rooted in hip-hop, and a sonic approach akin to Music concrete. The result is a fresh and expressive sound that varies from raw and percussive to deep and melodic and is favored by an ever-increasing number of listeners, dancers and DJs around the world.

Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of ‘Skywalking’ it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us’ intro edit of ‘Departure’ the theme goes darker and off-kilter. Bona fide anthems in the sets of Mathame and Tale Of Us.

Jens Lewandowski started his musical career with sharp focus maintaining, developing and improving his style over the years. What began as a (still unbroken) passion for music, has been inspired by big names like Kleinschmager Audio, Dapayk or Richie Hawtin and, so, made him a big name himself.
His mixture of quaking techno and minimalist additions makes him light of foot on a rocky trail.This DJ loves the contrast minimal techno has to offer. How successful he puts this love into his sound shows his biography up to today.
Jens Lewandowski plays at the big German cities, is a regular and well known guest in clubs like Tresor, Suicide Circus oder Sisyphos in Berlin und, last but not least, spreads his sound abroad and at festivals like the Helene Beach.
The base for this steep rise is surely his talent for producing. Already in 2006 the vinyl lover started to produce tracks independently. Releases like Do Not Stand, Panopal, Back Again or Funny Face made fellow musicians sit up. Finally, in 2015, he scored a coup when he and Alfred Heinrichs released the „Super EP“ (2015 Supdub Records), which rated highly in the Beatport charts for weeks. Further releases came on Creepy Finger Records, Phobos Records, plunk! and Treibjagd Records.
All this and numerous remixes show how busy but yet passionate this guy is - and he will bring off a lot more for sure.
