My name is Chris Rodler and I have been flying the flag of the underground progressive rock scene since the early 1990's. I have independently released albums by Rodler/Hultberg, Leger de Main, Gratto, Andeavor, Mythologic and Razor Wire Shrine. Three were picked up by larger labels and all were distributed world-wide. Each of these bands were reviewed and featured in dozens of musician and genre specific 'zines like Metal Hammer, Progression, Guitar Shop, Recording Magazine and Burrrn! to name a few. In 1999 I performed with prog-metal band Andeavor at Powermad '99 in Baltimore, MD as their keyboard player and returned to the stage with Razor Wire Shrine in 2007. Guitar is my main instrument but I have played bass on a majority of these recordings, keyboards for a couple of things and even sat behind the drum kit for a project or two. 

    This space is dedicated to all the bands I've been involved with over the last 30+ years. My goal is to make all of the recorded output by the above bands available in one place for streaming and download right here on soundcloud. I hope to eventually include various mixes that exist for a single album as well as dig into the vaults for demos and unreleased material. It must also be noted that most everything featured here has been recently remastered for the occasion. 

    I intend to gradually but steadily add audio to this page and this isn't limited to just archived music either as I am always writing and releasing new material. In fact, the first thing available here is my first solo album. Lastly, No matter how you found out about this site or my music I am grateful for your interest and I sincerely hope you have found something here to enjoy.
