Bam~Bou~Büs is a French-Iranian DJ and event organizer based in Cologne, Germany. As a club DJ, she supplies the crowd with loads of hot and dynamic smashing tunes. ABOUT Cigarra:

Ágatha Barbosa (Cigarra) is a DJ, VJ, performer and producer from São Paulo and currently living in Lisbon, Portugal. She is a member of Tropical Twista Records and the VOODOOHOP collective. She also leads 2 parallel projects: Jardim Eléctrico that focuses on audiovisuals and Jardim das Descoisas that focuses on kinderculture.

In her sets, Brazilian rhythms and exotic, world sounds combine with contagious low frequencies and hypnotic, seductive cuts. Playing sets for 10 of her 30 years, Cigarra released her first EP “Límbica” with tracks that have been part of the most recent history of her collage work. Her research for this EP is based on cultures that are ancestral and organic, urban and synthetic, and includes ghetto-electronics and psychedelic rock. The EP has 6 tracks based on sampling. Each one resembles a hurricane in a woman’s voice and is powerful.

Here's the recording for my DJ set from July 2nd, 2017 at the Katerblau Kiosk, hands down my favorite place to play music in Berlin.  The whole venue is a wonderland of discovery, the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, and I don't think I've played for a more open minded crowd in all of Europe. Longer sets allows you to take your time and be patient with the music, and the mixing.  The slow building journey I had imagined in my mind, was possible to make a reality, and extra time allowed me to experiment as well. This was probably my favorite gig of my entire 2 month Summer Sol Europe Tour. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I had creating it in the Kiosk.  Thanks to Mira, Britta, Martin, Claudia, Joyce, David, Brett, Toto, Sylvie, Dorin, any other friends I may have forgotten who were there, and especially to all you lovely dancers who joined me on this ride. and as we entered a bar in Vancouver we met that wonderful soul called https://soundcloud.com/nikisadeki . she is a big fan of our beloved series and has a wonderful taste in music. no long talk about it; she made a wonderful mix for us - so listen and like and share and show your love about it.

»The inspiration behind my Seaside Trip journey is this amazing poem by the beloved Pablo Neruda, called The Sea. To me, what Pablo seems to be telling us is that the sea is a living, breathing organism, whose essence is an ongoing, caressing movement. All seas, like all human lives, are joined in a certain, unbreakable way. In my Seaside Trip journey I tried to convey this message by using a full range of soul-bound beats, melodies and vocals from all around the world.« Niki Sadeki

I need the sea because it teaches me,
I don’t know if I learn music or awareness,
if it’s a single wave or its vast existence,
or only its harsh voice or its shining
suggestion of fishes and ships.

When human beings come together and share a common vision, a vivid feeling or a certain perspective, there is a small chance their lifes bond and timelines unveil that otherwise would remain hidden.
It's people like Gama (@gvmv) who prove that there is always a path to walk off the beaten track.

Inspiriert von der Morgensonnen nach einer stürmischen Nacht, spielten Moji, Tom und Svenja ein Herzens-Set für lachende und sonnige Tänzer auf dem Antlantis Floor. Und man kann es nicht anderes sagen … aber die Stimmung kommt voll durch.

Motomenja ist ein Deep-House/Downtempo Projekt der Künstler MOji [@moji-taali], TOM [@te-em-berlin] und svENJA [@plattenstreich]. Eine verwobene Symbiose aus atmosphärischen Klängen, sanften Melodien, treibenden Rhythmen und starken Bässen. Jedes Set lädt auf eine eigene Reise durch die weite Welt des Ambient und Downtempo ein, begleitet von groovigen Live-Elementen und fantasievollen Improvisationen auf der E-Violine.

Sometimes i feel like a Nomad, sometimes i feel settled.
Feeling roots and connection support me to live my nomadic genes as well. So i can leave with the confidence, that there is  a place.... where there are roots, a growing garden.......

Nomads travel to feed their comunity, traveling with the weather, traveling with the grow, with the climate, as sheperd's.
I feel like a nomad, like lots of you........ A music Nomade! I get so much feeded, while 'nomading' around.

A short expedition into the much overlooked tipica cumbia sound of Panamá

The heartache, melancholy and joy in the Panamá Tipica sound is hard to match and like no other to experience. It comes from a rich background of regional musical traditions, carnival rivalry and hotbeds like the legendary 'Festival en Guarare'. As I understand it, Panamanian cumbia was first played on violin until the arrival of accordions on the Isthmus, most early acordeoneros were violinists first and foremost. This mixtape comprises of some of the best 45s from the Herrera and Los Santos provinces, from the mid 50s through to late 60s. Over the last few years I've had the good fortune to meet several of these wonderful artists. Featured here: Dorindo, Papi Brandao, Oswaldo,Fito Espina, Ulpiano, Ceferino and more...
