I have Miku.

For this remix, I had to repeatedly check for any mistakes and errors. This originally had heavier electric guitar chords but I am not good at mixing those kinds of instruments so I replaced it with a more treble-sounding one. YouTube pls don't compress it badly.

This is technically my first time using Vocaloid but since I've got some knowledge with UTAU, SynthV and watching two videos about tuning, I hope it's satisfactory.

【TOTSUPOID】 Ego Rock 【UTAU Cover + VB DL】

Wanted to give a shot in Teto UTAU English again.

Just like my other stuff on pending, this cover was finished like months ago but I recently refined it slightly. I still wanted to give the vocals an accented way of singing but I got feedback with my English covers that I need to rhyme the ending part of each lyric so it flows better, which is understandable tbh. Also, I kinda like it when it has an accent 'cause I think it's more unique than it having perfect American English or smth.

Attempting to redeem my usage of Ruko.

I think you can already tell I took inspiration from Pigeon and CoffeeCat12's Ruko usage. The sizzly distorted feel of the default UTAU resampler really does wonders for Ruko's voice.

I mentioned in a tweet that I should stop caring about the quality of the visuals in my covers because what's most important is the audio, while the art is pretty much a bonus to the cover. I'm gonna try doing that more often. I'll probably add lyrics if it's necessary (for ex. English lyrics that aren't understood well) or extra effects if I have motivation.

This cover was gonna be done with Tarou Iwata but even if I modified his voice to go lower, it still wasn't cutting it for me. So I just went with Kiiro again since I feel like he's one of the few masculine UTAUs that I really like using, and he has the range that I prefer. I also considered my own UTAU but I feel like my voice is not 'badass' enough for this song.
