Abstract Grime

This track was inspired by Guy Debord’s Dérive theory in which one passes through ambient urban spaces. Musically, the production consists of vocal samples trained on the Holly+ model combined with CSV’s signature atmospherics and a UK drill beat.

Elegy: a mournful piece for the passing of all life and beauty

XTN integrates and composes with instruments such as the piano, french horn and synths within this piece for self-reflection and commemoration of the ones she has lost and will always miss. 
It is a reminder that even as life passes on to another realm, they remain boundless and always within your heart. We can truly feel sadness, and pain from the loss of loved ones, but remembering that they live within you will awaken that inner strength.

Mirage

After a visit to Montreal, I was inspired by the famous Habitat 67 apartment complex. The contrast between its brutalist architecture and nature inspired the themes of this song. Recorded live at the Ableton Loop Sessions during @mutek_montreal festival. 🌱
