Far From the Madding Crowd

A song inspired by the events following 7 October 2023 to express my sorrow about the 80 years of tragic injustice and destruction imposed upon the people of Palestine.

Our first attempt at a folk-rock epic. This was a lot of fun to write and record - it represents the warm front where our musical influences and what we individually bring to songwriting meet straight down the middle.

Here’s my heartfelt take on “Love Story” by Andy Williams—a classic reimagined with love and soul. This rendition is dedicated to my wifey, Meem, for Valentine’s Day, celebrating the timeless magic of love. Dear friends, we have seen many videos from Gaza, but I have never seen a flower there. Nor any green trees - only ruins!

Where do the Flowers Bloom

They sent their kids to the place where they
have heard is help
but they did not realise the danger
for the kids when they seek for
something to eat because hell is here
They have to run through the streets
between volleys of fires from soldiers guns
But where can we see them bloom, the flowers in our world

In other parts of the world we see
healthy children play 
under green trees with birds who are singing
for all kids who are stopping to
listen to their song since they live where they
take peace for granted when they are out on the 
streets also when the night has come

The nature gives so much life to all
of us who live
on this planet whereever we may be
it’s also for the people who are un-
lucky to be in the middle of disgusting hell
but they will raise and show everybody 
that the peoples wish is powerfull

De skickade sina barn till den plats där de

Where do the Flowers Bloom - 2025-08-13 18.02

As I age I've found myself loving nature more and love being in the outdoors. This track has been inspired by my love of those simple, free things. It's a calming, melodic track featuring the warmth and resonance of the cor anglais (English horn), supported by a gentle string and woodwind orchestration
