The Spies of Zeus were an idisoyncratic band from South Prague, Ohio, famous for not quite sounding like a few other famous bands. Fans of their particular blend of health-goth disco (or fans of blends of any kind) would do well to explore that inclination.

Learning to patch FM on this complex machine.  Here we have one carrier oscillator being modulated by another (silent) osc which is in turn modulated by a third (also silent) osc.  All are producing sine waves.  Each osc has a different note sequence, producing an array of different timbres. And then the Gotharman G-Ray filter comes into play.
