Starry Ceiling is a modern, romantic pop track that was created within the sorrow of lockdown. The song is inspired by hope & affection getting us through recent times, where romance & human interaction have been severely deprived, a message that I'm sure will resonate with millions. I collaborated remotely with the talented singer Harry Jones to create my first solo production to be released commercially and we're both very happy with the end product, I hope you feel the same way as we do.

Nocturnxs marks the debut release of our label sima and fittingly, it’s a collaboration between co-founders dirtilarita and Malandra.

Just like its opening track, the EP is an anthem to the rave, a celebration of finding belonging, freedom, and collective release on the dancefloor. Across three tracks of raw, hybrid, and forward-thinking sound, Nocturnxs blends UK Bass, Latin Club, and Rave influences into a powerful statement of unity and movement.

i used multiple instances of sting in ableton to trigger fairly standard repetitive loops, fed into driftmaker to create variable flux over time, also a load of randomised panning techniques. I guess its always teetering on collapse before at various intervals it totally does. in retrospect maybe more constant erosion rather than sudden collapse.
