There is a moment in our lives when everything is carefree and pure. Over the span of a lifetime it lasts a moment, it's up to us to cherish it with joy and go back to look for it so that it reminds us how deep everything that binds us is. “Chloe” is the song I wrote for my niece, who brought all of this back into our lives.

Ci sono brani e suoni che non si pensano, non si strutturano, non nascono con un fine, brani che non verranno mai suonati dal vivo, brani che non saranno mai inseriti in alcun disco, brani che suonano solo dentro di te. Questo è uno di quelli, nato in una notte sopra quei cazzo di tasti minuscoli del microkorg. Avevo bisogno di tradurre le emozioni in vibrazioni, non necessariamente in "canzone". Si è creato uno scambio, un dialogo, uno scontro tra me e le note suonate. Io ho dato a loro il volume per vivere, loro mi hanno reso la vita. Una notte insonne, perso tra ricordi, pensieri, problemi mai risolti, sempre con un andamento incerto. Una notte. Una notte durata mille anni che ha avuto questo brano come suo frutto. Se potessi spiegare il significato di questo brano a parole non l'avrei suonato, ve lo avrei scritto.

Sono appena tornato da un viaggio bellissimo. Per la prima volta ho potuto apprezzare quella terra splendida che è la Sicilia. Certe sensazioni non sempre si possono esprimere a parole, così ho provato a dirle a modo mio. Non fate troppo caso all'audio. Sono tornato a casa, ho attaccato due microfoni e ho premuto rec. Ci sono sbagli, rumori, suoni.. come nella vita normale, di tutti i giorni. Una traccia che va dall'alba al tramonto, non necessariamente con un significato preciso, semplicemente per me descrive ciò che ho potuto vedere, sentire, annusare, toccare e vivere in Sicilia, qualcosa di magico e unico.
La dedico a tutti i miei amici siculi.

Hello, I’m Christian “DeLord” Carlino and I’m an italian creative, pianist and writer.
First of all I'm a composer and creative director and I work not only with music, I live in Italy and I love to discover the world outside with my eyes.
The music has always been part of my life from the very early age. I remember long time ago, I was with my father in a Italian television to try to be selected as a character for a tv-spot; after the selection a man comes to me and told me “Choose whatever you want, we want to give a gift to you for the participation”. I don’t know why, but in all of that gift (tons of toys for childrens…), I selected a mini-keyboard and I was the happiest children in the world. 
I think that was the time I remember that life gaved me also the joy to be a musician and make art.
