This is my solo set from Burning Medellin on 2-9-24 at Heard From in El Poblado, Medellin, Colombia. House and techno converge and conspire in the mid-bass synth licks and basslines to create my definition of big room dancefloor house.

House. In all its forms. From a desert sunrise to an underground party, club, or festival stage, I have one job, one intention--to deliver what you didn't know you wanted until I give it to you. May I never lose track of the essence of what I do--that I'm playing music for friends, whether it's 40 friends or 4,000. 

Of all the art forms, music is the one that offers the experience of primordial energy in its original state, as a wave. When we see or touch things, we're experiencing the wave collapsed into matter (stuff of the 3D realm, the maya). Music digs deep in our beings because we directly experience the wave, the medium of the universe.

I've been deep in the electronic music world since the late '90s. From 2000 to 2006, my partner and I produced house music events in Los Angeles that changed the city's music landscape and raised the bar of expectation both in the underground with Funk Hollywood and in the clubs with Honey. We lifted house music out of the "house room" and the filthy warehouse, and we gave it the setting it deserves--or, rather, the quality of sound systems, environment, installed art and creature comforts deserving of house heads.

The house music crowd is family.
