Recondite marks his return to Hotflush with the epic, potentially summer-defining 'Caldera' and a sequel to his 2012 hit 'DRGN'. The Bavarian artist has undergone a dazzling rise since that time, and one which is reflected in the increasing opulence of his music.

'Caldera', with its dramatic arpeggios and crescendos, is unabashed big-field decadence. Bearing all the hallmarks on which he's made his name - space, subtlety, build, attention to timbre - over the course of 9 minutes it raises the temperature to white heat. 'DRGN 2' picks up exactly where its 2012 namesake left off; that is, with an arching melody played out over droning tones of insidious intent. Dark, imposing and elegant - this is Recondite at his most wicked.

To be free, means to be a freak. Whether as a DJ, label manager, T-Shirt creator or all-round talent – since two decades, Ellen Allien is one of Berlin’s exceptional phenomena that have created her own universe with the combination of old school-based underground love and contemporary experimental spirit. After the lovely musical affair with Thomas Muller for the track „Free Nation“, for her new solo release we hear the anniversary bells ringing. The three tracks – which are co-produced by Martin Eyerer and Skinnerbox – already mark the 300th catalog number of BPitch Control.
The „Freak EP“ is not only the result of the last months in Berlin; it also flags up the change to Ibiza, where Ellen uses the warm season to spray her positive vibe during her residency in DC 10. „Butterfly“ acts like the kick-off and not only host graceful 808 pinpricks, with the dreamy melody in the background a nostalgic aura raises that reveals Ellen’s warmer side. Especially the bass rumble emphasizes the physicality of her music in an impressive manner – in short: pure love. „Come To
Me“ is desire and passion within seven and a half minutes. In addition to the deep house frame groovy beats pushes in the foreground that sets free a hypnotic mantra. Spineless dancefloor magic that rewinds time with the haunting rave signal, floating Roland synths and the SH101 raveline. With the title track „Freak The Night Away“, Ellen once more succeeded in creating a hymn that embodies both the slogan of every great night as well as the strong atmosphere of her energetic DJ sets. Again, we hear Ellen’s charming voice – crazy, playful, creative. Following the motto: just go! With rattling claps and a warm bass, dancing won’t become a compulsion; the track clearly goes under the skin with its 303 acid hints as well as Roland piano sounds and opens the gate to another dimension. Bereits vor über 20 Jahren veröffentlichte Cassy ihre erste Platte. Daraufhin folgte eine Karriere, die ihresgleichen sucht. Cassy hat in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York und Los Angeles gelebt, im legendären Plattenladen Hard Wax gearbeitet und Residencies in berühmten Clubs wie Panorama Bar, Trouw, Output, DC-10 für Circo Loco, Rex Club, Amnesia für Cocoon und Pacha mit ihrer eigenen Nacht im Pachacha Room gehalten – und noch vieles mehr.

Anja Schneider ist ebenfalls eine wahre Ikone der Szene, die bereits seit den 90er-Jahren aktiv und erfolgreich ist. 2021 wurde sie von der Berlin Music Commission für ihren außergewöhnlichen Einfluss auf die Musikszene ausgezeichnet. Neben ihren energiegeladenen DJ-Sets ist Anja Schneider auch für ihre innovativen Produktionen und ihr Engagement in der Förderung neuer Talente bekannt. Zudem gründete und betrieb sie das weltweit bekannte Label Mobilee Records bis 2017, bevor sie im selben Jahr ihr neues Label Sous Music ins Leben rief.

Bis heute Pflegen die beiden DJs eine innige Freundschaft. Mit ihrer Eventreihe PuMp, die bereits unter anderem im Watergate stattfand, ist Anja Schneider inzwischen auch regelmäßig in der Rakete Nürnberg zu Gast. More than 20 years ago, Cassy released her first record. What followed was a career unlike any other. She has lived in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York, and Los Angeles, worked at the legendary record store Hard Wax, and held residencies at renowned clubs such as Panorama Bar, Trouw, Output, DC-10 for Circo Loco, Rex Club, Amnesia for Cocoon, and Pacha, where she hosted her own night in the Pachacha Room—and much more.

Anja Schneider is also a true icon of the scene, having been active and successful since the 1990s. In 2021, she was honored by the Berlin Music Commission for her exceptional influence on the music scene. In addition to her energetic DJ sets, Anja Schneider is known for her innovative productions and dedication to supporting emerging talent. She also founded and ran the globally renowned label Mobilee Records until 2017, before launching her new label Sous Music later that same year.

To this day, the two DJs share a close friendship. With her event series PuMp, which has already taken place at venues like Watergate, Anja Schneider is now also a regular guest at Rakete Nürnberg. At the last Dayrave, the two delivered a stunning, nearly seven-hour Back2Back set. Enjoy this special edition of the Jeden Tag ein Set podcast!

Sven Väth – From My Heart To Yours

Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over two decades with his trademark groovy techno.

Although Swedish by birth, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany which no doubt played an unexpected role in determining his musical tastes from a young age. After spending time in the US studying, Christian moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil playing the best clubs in the city and surrounding regions, where he still loves to play today and continues to have a very big following.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Wehbba, Ramon Tapia, and more. The label has been the top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release.
Tronic also has a weekly show which is now syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, their 500th show was celebrated with special guest Carl Cox and now in 2022, they are already fast approaching the 600th episode.

Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024. During the pandemic, Christian had a weekly Tronic Thursday stream which has reached over 10M people. On the remix front, Christian has recently reworked a track by UK hip hop superstar "Stormzy". His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists and Christian is currently enjoying a big boost in his career.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. His first season on the Island in 2019 had 15 consecutive weeks of events and was a huge success. Christian was also invited to host Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, Detroit, Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.
