Carlos Heredia was drawn to djing and mixing while in London back in 2010. As his passion for music continued to thrive, he delved into varying styles and genres to craft his adventure in sound as a musical artist.

In 2011 he ventured off to Berlin and there discovered his zest for instrumental ethereal sounds with hints of electronic. His roots called him back home in 2016 and he’s flourished in the music scene in Tulum, Mexico, where he developed the sound you hear him play today. In 2021, Carlos co-founded the record label Kilómetro 4.5 (Km4.5)

Varying from, House, Deep House, Indie Dance, and Disco to Downtempo, you can catch him in Tulum, Mexico, finding the right balance for both the mellow-groovers and the dance-floor enthusiasts. To music friends and comrades in the industry, he is known as LITOS.

Born and raised in Montreal, Mike has been mixing for about 3 years. Inspired by all cultures, he is curious about exploring all sounds, and playing a more diverse range of tracks.

Raised on classic hip hop, he has only dived into electronic music in the past few years. The genre has satisfied the craving for driving, grooving melodies. Developing a passion for moving dance-floors, he uses DJing as a creative outlet; a means to tell a story. Obsessed by the deepest of sounds, his goal is to transport his listeners; through his evolving mixes. His style is deep; whether it's dreamy or dark, he is always ready to take listeners on a journey.

Originally a child of reggae, Bonjour Ben started DJing in his early twenties and, with the help of the tight DJ community, he established his organic sound. After muscling in on the lineup of his local clubs, Ben has become a staple of the organic and intercultural house scene, including appearances at Watergate, About Blank, Sisyphos (Berlin), Institut fuer Zukunft (Leipzig), Amsterdam, Zürich, London, Sao Paulo and more.

For the last episode in this year’s anniversary month of August we’re happy to add a special treat to the Schirmchendrink menu: A Spanish version of the Mai Tai – mixed by the terrific music producer Pablo Bolivar and consisting of releases on his own label Seven Villas.

Born in Santander, Spain, in 1981, Pablo took his first steps into the music business by studying Sound Engineering at Barcelona’s Crash institute. Following this, he worked as a sound engineer for a number of years following his graduation in 1998.

After releasing his first LP on Barcelona’s „Regular“, the Spaniard has gone from strength to strength, with further releases on imprints such as Desolat, Culprit, Einmusika and, of course, on his own labels Seven Villas or Avantroots.  

There is often a deep, mystical feeling locked inside Pablo’s music. He once said that this comes from his homeland, and its grey and rainy days, the beautiful green landscapes and endless summers. And this is beautifully transported through his music, like in his latest work, a co-production with his fellow countryman Squire on Lee Burridge’s TRYBESof.

Besides music production, the name Pablo Bolivar also stands for meticulously crafted DJ performances: A combination of his his own mesmerizing Techno cuts with records unearthed from his regular excursions crate digging as well as from other artists he admires.
