Øperat, an experimental industrial project born by the Italian duo in 2013. Always passionate about electronic music, they approached the world of live and production right away. Suggesting a completely modular set up. Their sound is characterized by dark environments with dynamic bass lines and rhythms, aggressive and sharp sounds. After several years spent in a studio they had the opportunity to play live shows at one of the main clubs in the area"Hyper" (VI). In which they had several opportunities to perform with international artists. Last year they recorded some DJ sets for Sehnsucht Kollektiv, The Slave, Untreated, Vumantra, M.powerhouse and Brutal Forms.In February 2019 they have their first release in a various artist on Kloster recordings and December 2020 Templer (Area Z). 

Øperat is a strong and solid project in continuous evolution created by two old childhood friends.

IOD PODCAST #057 // HYBRAL

Hybral is a Berlin-based non-binary DJ and producer drawn to eerie energetic industrial techno. They mix and produce haunting techno and noisy-driven experimental sounds - creating dystopian and menacing atmospheres and capturing feelings of anger, anxiety, chaos, fear, tension and pain.  Hybral's productions are made of dark atmospheric patterns linked with pushing percussions and basslines as well as heavily distorted kicks and harsh industrial noises. 

In this mix, Hybral focuses on the rather slower side of industrial techno, giving it a sexy and texturised touch.

They are also founder of the queer label, event and podcast SUBVERTED that is focusing on industrial techno with influences by dark ambient, noise, EBM and hypnotic techno. SUBVERTED curates queer parties with equally queer line-ups, showcasing non-binary, trans, female, inter, and agender DJs and producers focusing on dark, harsh, athmospheric and texturised sounds. the intention is to lead the scene back to its roots of diversity and social justice. SUBVERTED stands in resistance to the personality cult and intends to put the focus back on music and community building.

Hailing from South Italy, P RISCO is an artist, di, producer and label owner who expresses himself through very tasteful and mental sounds. His sets propagate bold, powerful sounds and lead you to a triggering journey. With appearances at Jaded's after hours raves, Open, Fold's unstream session in London and other venues across Europe. P RISCO's dangerously fast style has proliferated online with mixes for Voight Kampff, Pure Hate, to name a few, as well as holding down a residency at 1020 Radio in Bristol and Aaja Music in South East London - an inner journey to research and showcase dissonant harmonies of drones and resonances, low frequency rumbles
and machines noises ranging from Ambient to avant garde sounds ending up on a more aggressive note,In August 2020, P. RISCO launched his own label Chronicles Records to provide a truly sensational visual and sound
sensory experience - focusing on hard and fast techno with a touch of industrial rave and acid shade.

Al principio inició su contacto con la música electrónica en un clásico evento pero al no estar del todo satisfecha con lo que escuchaba se topó con corrientes que iban más de la mano con sus gustos y empezó a aprender a mezclar y muy pronto también cómo producir su propia música.
Su primer lanzamiento fue en Knife Records, un EP completo llamado "Bleeding Out Shadows Of The Past". Este EP sienta las bases sonoras del sello con una clara declaración de intenciones.

Her first release was out in Knife Records a full EP called “Bleeding Out Shadows Of The Past”. This EP sets the sonic foundations of the label with a clear declaration of intent.

G.xist is a London based techno artist and the co-founder of Depth.Request label.
His music is a combination of syncopated industrial rhythms and sombre soundscapes blending ritualistic, punk but also futuristic atmospheres with noise textures. 
Balancing between downtempo and faster beats, 
the approach of his dj sets creates levels of tension that brings the audience straightforward to a dystopian environment.
His next release « Anatoly » is a 6-Track EP that will be out on his own imprint, Depth.Request.
