'Housescapes' is the forthcoming Album from Christof R Davis featuring 8 tracks developed and created from field-recordings taken around his home. 
From the rhythmic thrum of the dishwasher to the typing of emails and the purring of the cat, these tracks start life as recordings on a Tascam field recorder which are used as the inspiration for Christof's compositions. 
Two tracks have been pre-released so far 'Dishwasher Drones' and 'Spin Cycle' (exclusively on Soundcloud/Bandcamp) with the full album due to be released on 22nd May 2023.

'Dishwasher Drones' takes as it's starting point a recording of Christof's dishwasher. The low-drone pedal and rhythmic motion of the water blades provide a hypnotic base over which are built synth layers and tape delays. 

'Spin Cycle' uses the cycling waves of a Bosch washing machine to inspire a track using pulsing keyboard delays, synths, orchestral textures and a piano, vibes and glock melody.

I see this song as me going from a caterpillar to a butterfly 🦋 
But most importantly another sign to focus and look after you, stop worrying about everything else!
