The Black Overtones comprise of four individual musicians whom are all well-honed in their own right. They play a brand of alternative rock and are based in Dublin, Ireland.  The Black Overtones earns its distinctive sound partly from the varying cultural influences within the band. Alan and Paul are Irish natives hailing from Dublin and Roscommon, respectively. Hector affords the band its international influence bringing inspiration from Venezuela.

An absolute obsession with Words and Melody took hold of David at a very early age 
Exposed to the writings of Behan, Yeats and Wilde with the soundtrack of Dylan, Buckley and The Dubliners illuminating his formative year's. 
Inspired by the Storytelling and Character creations of his Grandfather he took the boat over the water and gathered Tales and Tunes of his own, learning his craft and expressing his love of Language.

Having been asked to play alongside the likes of Mick Flannery, Hothouse Flowers, Damien Dempsey and Glen Hansard David is fast becoming one of Ireland's most talked about young Artist's.

PuristProductions® was established in Ireland in 1999 as a vessel through which its music producer and live performer/promoter Ross J Walsh, aka "Purist," could promote his music. Following multiple successful shows, Purist is gaining a solid foothold in the international music scene, while also carving out a firm following as his unique stage performances find respect and appreciation by those in attendance.

Ross J Walsh is the composer, producer and sole performer of his music. He began playing music at the age of 8, and by the age of 12, was composing his own unique Electronic music always staying true to the Live Experience with a relentless need to create music with purpose and meaning. From his unique and meticulous sound designs and production, favouring original creativity over sampling, all of his music projects are performed completely live on an array of electronic synthesizers, drum machines, workstations, and samplers. His live shows are conceptual, tech orchestrated sets. Every live performance produces a new experience, Guaranteed.
Each live performance is a conceptual project in the construction, manipulation and presentation of sound and rhythm, together with the connection between performer and listener, resulting in hugely positive reactions and repeat bookings.

Purists tone sculpting abilities, Natural ear for precise sound and synchronization, timing and unique producing of impressive rhythms and meaningful melodies, transports listeners to an intellect constructed of sound, rhythm and Tone, sustained only by Purists unique talents for modulating Electronic music Live, and Resonating its power. All of this on the fly, preferring his own Human abilities and personally crafted techniques in favour of laptops and midi synchronization, to fully express himself honestly in music.
Purist is currently working with "Overload Dark" label in limerick as a resident producer and performer. His latest project focuses on expanding the creativity of his Live music production, the progressive development of his own Electronic music Genre and live performance techniques. Recently, Purist has been working on a brand new project called "HARDWAVE® project", focusing exclusively on the exploration of producing and performing completely live, the harder styles of electronic music.
