Performing at Tanglewood has always been a dream, so this set holds a special place for me as I channeled classic afternoon Australian dancefloor steeze, whilst doing my best to honor the beautiful legacy of the late Steph Born, who blessed our community with this festival.

I’m beyond grateful to have spent this New Years with most of the people I love. During the beautiful tributes for Steph by her family on the 31st evening, I was reminded to honor, enrich, and nurture the special connections I'm lucky to share with so many, something I will make my number 1 priority in 2025.

Back to the music… expect mostly Digital Structures vibes—old, new, unreleased—with dnb, ukg and halftime thrown in for a laugh. Safe to say I had a fuckin ball throwin' down behind the wheels.

This set was new territory for me!

On May 17 at Ridgey Didge Productions Presents - Convergence 3 - I played a 2 hour warm up set for the almighty, Electrypnose. I got to explore some new territory with this set. Kicking it off with my remix of ALBA’s, “Badman”, then shifting through layers of minimal and bush techno gears, progressively weaving into swampy sounds of psy tech and psy trance. Getting up to 140 BPM at one point I believe - definitely the fastest 4/4 I’ve ever played out! All the while playing heaps of homies tunes. ✊

The dance floor was in it with me. I opened to a quiet room, but by the time I finished, the crowd was roaring and ready to dive into 3 hours of Electrypnose. This set felt good… different… I’m keen for some more fast paced, heavier sets like this!

Christopher Brooks, has original music signed to major Australian labels, Open Records, Bassic Records, Frisson Records and Late Night Music. Performing original Live sets as well as DJ sets. Christopher’s sound bind the grounds of Deep Progressive House and Minimal Techno, always responding to the environment and moment. Christopher has become a key member of the Love Camp crew, co-curating their notorious festival programs and serving as artist liaison, while frequently teaming up with Butterz for unforgettable B2B sets.

Christopher tours up and down the east coast of Australia, ripping up dance floors at some of the most renowned clubs and festivals. His distinctive sound has been heard at, Esoteric Festival, Elements Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Love Camp, SASH, Revolver, Sutra Sunrise, Breakfast Club, BushTechno, My Aeon, Elsewhere Club and Sub Rosa, among many others. Christopher has also supported international DJ's, such as Robert Babicz, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Danny Howells, Marc Marzenit, Max Cooper and Claude VonStroke, just to name a few... as well as top Australian artists such as, Doppel, ThankYou City, Jamie Stevens, Fabrication, Tom Baker, Unknown Concept and many more.

Christopher’s deep passion for sound led him to earn a Bachelor of Music Technology degree from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. There, he honed advanced skills in sound engineering, design, and composition. Beyond his performances, Christopher operates Studio B, an audio specialist service providing pre and post-production, sound design, mixing, and mastering for music, TV media, and online advertisements.
