Pash - She Is A Fucking Techno Girl

Here is a recording from a an evening in the 1960s sometime, when my mom, Linda, and her hs cohorts performed a live set with their folk outfit., The Melody Folk, from Lincoln HS.   This is just Fantastic.  She has been apart from us since 2003, and this showed up in my inbox several years ago, sent by one of the other women in the group.  My mom never got to hear this, nor did she know of its existence.  None of us here in Maine knew that this existed.  From what I understand, it was discovered quite accidentally, and as the story goes, the recording along with hundreds of others were archived by none other than Bill Graham.  
I have been involved in music, professionally, for over a quarter century and my brothers, also, have some musical talent.  
Linda can be heard on the second track, taking the lead on “The Water is Wide”.  
I hope you enjoy this poignant flashback 💜

The living room is filling with cigarette smoke spilling over from the adjacent dining room.  
The adults are all drinking - strong ones.  We are having a hayday with the Radio Shack pencil microphone.  We are fortunate that someone found and saved this 8-track cartridge. 
The adults are angry, buzzed, and hungry. 
This is the soundtrack to our lives.

Following this debauchery is a never before released recording of yours truly performing with Scott Cossu at Bates in 1996. 
Scott is playing the Khaen: 
the traditional bamboo free reed mouth organ from Laos / Northeast Thailand.
