Maxon OD808 (SW tone) into a 
94 Peavey 5150 half stack with mesa tubes.

A little demonstration of a few whammy bar tricks. 

Whammy Bar Tricks

Self Explanatory.  I do like the way this guy plays and for years I've really love his hollow, clean tone, that he sometimes uses on Limp Bizkit tracks like Boiler, Don't Go Off Wandering, Walking Away, and others.  I got this by using a pretty large and distant reverb and panning my first delay to send it to both of the rear left and right channels.  My second delay went to making bounce like an echo using a "ping pong" sort of effect.  I didn't use any distortion on this at all nor any gain, this was purely my guitars clean sound with a small bit of EQing to match the tone of his seven Ibanez guitar.  I'm tuned in a drop B on a six string ESP with dual EMG 81's so that was needed.

"Silver" has an edgy and tense intro and verse riff with an incredibly simple but crushing melody line. The chorus completely changes direction sounding bold and triumphant, or even euphoric. The songs middle section is a 'trippy' sounding break down section that conjures images of a vast desert. The guitar solo is eastern or arabic sounding, drenched in an atmospheric echo and fast legato guitar runs.
