Vers 1:
Ich öffne die letzte Tür,  tret’ hinaus ins Licht 
die Luft ist klar, der Himmel hell.
Ein Atemzug, so voll in meiner Brust –
und plötzlich spür ich, ich lebe jetzt.
Da wo einst  der Tod regierte, keimt nun Leben,
die Zeit hält still, der Druck fällt ab.
Ich schau nicht mehr auf alte Mauern,
ich geh nun eigene, neue Wege.

Pre-Refrain:
Ich seh die Farben tanzen –
nicht draußen, sondern tief in mir.
Und jede Tür, die ich durchschritt,
führt mich ein Stück mehr zu mir.

Türen öffnen sich –
ich lauf barfuß durch mein Leben.
Keine Angst mehr vorm Zurück,
weil ich gelernt hab, mir zu vergeben.
Alles atmet, alles lacht,
