French Overture/March - Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

For 2 oboes, 2 horns, and strings. I wrote this in three days June 26-28, 2016. It is in the Viennese Classical style, but of course with my own personal touch. This is the largest scale work I've written in quite a few years.

As I was flying above the Atlantic Ocean after a semester abroad, and I saw the vast endless expanse of water below me, this Pokémon tune came to mind from my childhood, and I decided to pass some time by doing an arrangement of it (by ear) for flute and harpsichord
