Andrea Campbell, Groovilicious's, story extends way back into the roots of the house x techno music scene, as this musical vibration reached her budding young generation of dance music enthusiasts, on the West Coast, USA, just as she was graduating from high school in 1992.  

As the roots of the Detroit Techno, and Chicago House scenes were taking the world of underground, gay dance clubs by storm, the infectious influence of this sound eventually spread to the West Coast.   

Andrea had the opportunity of a young exposure to underground dance clubs in the late '80's and early 90's, because she had an awesome older sister, who was a huge musical influence on her.  And, who also guided her into the discovery of the underground dance music culture, by taking Andrea out dancing at dance clubs in Seattle in the late ‘80’s, in a pre- Rave era.  Andrea would "go out" with her sister, and her friends, to go dancing at gay dance cubs,  in many west coast cities, as well as Austin, and NOLA, by the time she turned 18.  

Eventually rave culture took hold in 1992, and it was ON, once Andrea discovered house & techno music!  She then raved from Seattle to BC, to So Cal, and lived in Seattle producing events with the Groovilicious Love Tribe.  

Groovilicious Love Tribe (GLT) was an all-womens' production crew, who produced their first event under this name in 1994.  These ladies were instrumental, and influential, in inspiring a more feminine approach to producing dance music events, in an otherwise male-dominated industry, in Seattle in the mid-90's.  

Feeling the need to bring in more of a focus on the Earth, and aligning with their spiritual awareness, they felt the shift away from industrial urban spaces, that early warehouse raves were based on.   

GLT wanted to create something that was both healing and sustainable, with the intent, and goal, to return to a place of honor, connection, and respect, for the earth. Their intentions, as a collective, were on a spiritual focus, creating, and holding, a sacred space, for those attending, to have the best possible experience with the music, and the dance.  Utilizing music, and dance, as tools, to catalyze consciousness, spiritual awakening/s, and come-unity, through ecstatic dance.  And, giving away free smoothies at parties, and pancakes at the afterparties!  Building spirituality, and community, in contrast to the dense urban environment, from which such gatherings stemmed.  

Eventually, Andrea heard the call of the mountains, and her path led her away from the city, to reside in Mount Shasta "City".  In Mt. Shasta, Andrea has been "rocking the planet", holding outdoor campout festivals, each summer, for full moons, solstices, or equinoxes, since 1996.  She continues to produce monthly gatherings, and special events.

Becoming DJ Groovilicious, occurred over a course of time beginning in 2000, when Andrea began her vinyl record collection, and learning the art of DJing.  

The name Groovilicious is throwing it back to Andrea's roots, of the beloved ‘90’s early rave era, and by choosing to go by this DJ name, she seeks to share a journey through dance music.  Honoring the culture, and the historical roots, from which it all stems, from the past, and into the present.

Andrea is currently working to produce and promote events under the name Planet Rocker Productions.  With two new events in the works, a monthly Groove Therapy, and new event series, Bed, Beats & Breakfast!

Stumbling out of a Bar from Northern California, Tokit burst on to the California scene by showing up to his early gigs of house parties with boxes of corn and strippers. No one ever figure out why he always brought corn. The rumors are that they would have wild parties where the parents would come home right at the best part and everyone would have to run out the back door. Tired of always getting busted the crew rented a place off Sperry In Sacramento to open an illegal bar and throw these underground house parties with 100's of people fit into this small duplex filled with large Cerwin Vega speakers and laser beams.  The full bar was stocked for every party. The place was always going off. These parties went on for some time. That is until one dark night the music was bumping, the neighbors were looking and yelling as this particular night the street was full of cars. People couldn't get in. The vibe turned a little crazy Before you know it a stripper is breaking out the windows of the spot. People started screaming and running all over the streets. The party ended abruptly while the girl was taken to the hospital. Rumor has it within the crew that she lost an arm. Now only playing where there are no windows near the DJ booth, when you see him live he will undoubtedly have a Sierra Nevada and scanning the crowd for a one arm stripper.

Diego Valle has evolved as an artist without ever losing the initial rush of passion that initially pushed him into the electronic music world. Over the years, he’s developed a sound that is unique and influential by exploring the connective threads between Deep House, House, Tech House, Afro House, Minimal, and Techno.

Diego launched his own imprint, LTHM, in 2012 as an avenue for him to release his own music. Over the years it has become an internationally recognized label with over 135 releases from various artist worldwide. He has also released music for labels such as:  Purveyor Underground, Late Night Munchies, Listen:React, Miaw, Constructive Cycle, Dream Mode, HMNI Music, Selekta Recordings, Uniting Souls Music, Phantom Recordings, Vursatil, and Ravesta Records as well as his own imprint LTHM. There’s a clearly defined, but pliable and versatile sound to his productions that marks him as a truly talented producer. You can find a taste of his style on his weekly podcast also under the name LTHM, which has over 835 episodes since its inception in 2011.

Over the years he’s been involved with various local electronic music events such as Sol*Sundaze, a day time summer outdoor party, HMNI all night warehouse events and more recently Saucy, a yearly celebration. Diego has played from Seattle, Washington to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and his local region Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area in his home state of California. With over 30 years experience as a DJ, he is well versed in taking on the decks for any time slot and environment, from opening sets, outdoor events, to closing out warehouse parties and everything in between.

The constant flow of creativity will keep him focused as he continues on his musical journey where he creates a path which reflects his vision, passion, and love of music.

Born out of freestyle battles, late night skate sessions, and using his brother's deejay equipment without asking, came a young Puerto Rican obsessed with finding, collecting, and playing the sounds that moved him as an adolescent.  The music that became the backdrop to his thoughts, to his dreams, and visions were somewhat burned into his memory as songs that were responsible for who he was and what he was to become.  By the age of 14 Jsun Paul knew his way around the decks, mixers, and record stores. Lunch money was actually used to buy records, not lunch. The hunger for food subsided as his taste for those rare and unique records were found and played. It wasn't easy though. Music was harder to find back then and certain records had no labels, no names, no colors, which meant it had to come from Jsun's memory and even more so his soul. To recall drum sequences, bass lines, melodies, or a certain vibe meant that the music had to be downloaded into his being so that he was able to find what he was looking for. Ultimately that vibe took him from the concrete jungle of Southern California to his current home in Northern California.

Jsun Paul (Also known as DJ Jsun, or simply Jsun) has been tantalizing dance floors in California and elsewhere for over 15 years. The deep and techy, sultry and seductive, melodic bass with a touch of grime he plays has earned him slots at some of the finest club events and festivals on the west coast like Desert Hearts, Lightening in a Bottle, Northern Nights and more. Jsun Paul's musical expressions caught the ears of the Los Angeles based Wulfpack Crew, who in the summer of 2013 made him a part of the pack. His ability to play all types of music has provided him with the essentials necessary to hold multiple residencies in Northern California, the longest of which has been going on for over a decade. In 1999, Jsun Paul co-founded Deep Groove Society, a group of like minded musicians, producers, artists, dancers, and promoters, who stepped up to create a production company that provided the tools necessary for people to release their energy and move to the sounds of the underground music culture.
 
For the last 10 years Jsun Paul has been a resident and promoter of Northern California's longest running weekly;  SUNDAZE, located in Arcata California. Every Sunday, Jsun Paul and his crew sets out to create a musical journey and experience for the community that has been fortunate to have had the support and participation of many of the electronic music industries movers and shakers over the last decade. Before Deep Groove Society, it was thought that the underground electronic music culture ended in the Bay Area, but as it turned out there was a musical oasis located farther North in which Jsun Paul and Deep Groove Society were the ambassadors. Ornette is a deep house and tech house dj on the West Coast of the United States. A founding member of the North Bay Collective, he started promoting and dj'ing warehouse parties in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1995.  A broadcaster for MHYH radio (www.myhouseyourhouse.net) on Thursday nights, Ornette is currently a resident dj/promoter for Higher Conscience and Family Room, a bi-weekly house music event in Sebastopol, California.

Ornette has played at a variety of large and small scale venues, warehouse, forest, beach, and desert parties as well as SXSW music festival in Austin Texas.  As a dj who's on-deck experience has spanned three decades, he has been billed with a wildly diverse group of artists from Dylan Rhymes, Adam Beyer, and Christopher Lawrence to house mainstays Farina, Migs, and Johnny Fiasco as well as the likes of Fishbone's Angelo Moore and the P-Funk Allstars.

While Ornette's sets in the 90's (playing under the moniker Logik) were usually high energy techno affairs for the rave crowd, these days he is focused on deeper, electronic, and decidedly more emotional sounds.  Inspired by music's ethereal ability to touch the moments of our life and bring clarity to the unknown, the quest continues to fuse obscure and oddly arranged elements into tangible, soulful journeys of the heart.
