Benefit of the Doubt is a post-hardcore band from Lakewood, California founded by lead guitarist Michael Serrano and Lead clean and unclean vocalist Mario Morales. They formed in June 2014 and have already released their demo "survival" and plan to release their EP some time next fall.
They are greatly influenced by a variety of bands like Crown the Empire, Avenged Sevenfold, Of Mice & Men, and Escape the Fate's older music.
They incorporate elements from heavy metal, hardcore, metalcore, and pop punk into their music as well.
Other members of the band include unclean back up vocalist Jacob Nuño, rhythm guitarist Peter Solorzano, drummer Jackson "Jack" Reed, and bassist Danny Torres

Hey everyone! My name is Julia and I eat, sleep, and breathe music. After battling severe depression and everything it comes with I realized that music was really what was pulling me through. I enjoyed singing and playing guitar and was told I was good so I decided to use it. I make music for people to relate to. Hopefully I can inspire people and show them that whatever life throws at you, music will always be there; or at the very least give them a fun song.
