Ishan Attanayake, known professionally as ISHAN, is an esteemed DJ hailing from the enchanting hillside town of Bandarawela in Sri Lanka. From a young age, Ishan was driven by his passion for Electronic Dance Music, recognizing it as his true calling and a lifelong pursuit.

Over the years, Ishan's talent and dedication led him to notable achievements in his career. He embarked on his musical journey by securing his first residency at RIU Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka, where he captivated audiences with his dynamic performances. Following his success, he ventured into the tropical paradise of Maldives, where he served as a Resident DJ for over two years, adding depth and vibrancy to the vibrant music scene.

Ishan's reputation as a Resident DJ of La Foresta further solidifies his position as a respected figure within the industry. His exceptional skills have earned him the opportunity to share the stage with renowned international artists such as Eelke Kleijn, Space Motion, Armen Miran, Stan Kolev, Matan Caspi, Roy Rosenfeld, DJ Ruby, Aaron Suiss, Silver Panda, Praveen Achary, Teklix and Inna RA to name a few.

A pivotal moment in Ishan's career came during his attendance at the Ultra Music Festival in 2017. As a fervent admirer of artists like Sasha, John Digweed, Henry Saiz, Nic Fanciulli, and Dubfire, he found profound inspiration that fueled his desire to create his own music. Eager to evoke the same emotions in others, Ishan delved into music production, utilizing his versatility as a DJ to inform and enrich his creative output.

Hypnotised, currently located at the coast in Belgium (De Panne) after having lived a few years in South Africa, took his first DJ steps in the biggest party area in Ghent (Belgium), at first playing a mixture of styles on several weekly residencies. After attending his first underground techno party and experiencing the exciting start of legendary parties like "I love techno" and "10 days of techno" a new magical music world opened up for him discovering and exploring different scenes and styles. These days he will “hypnotise” you with deep prog and melodic sounds.

Host of the popular radio show "After Hours" together with his partner in crime PatriZe on five radio stations worldwide: TM Radio (USA), XBeat Radio (BEL), Scientific Sound Asia (VNM), Subcode Radio (UK) and Radio Red Phuket (THA). Next to this weekly show they also host a monthly show "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA). Hypnotised also hosts his monthly show “Control Room” on TM Radio (USA) and is a resident DJ for "Cavalli Booking Radio Show" on the world’s biggest radio station for electronic music, Ibiza Global Radio (ESP). Being well appreciated for his intriguing sets he's also been invited as a guest on several other radio stations all over the world such as Topradio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia Fm, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM, Ibiza Soul-Radio and many more.

He shared the decks with top artists like Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, Nick Bril and others at festivals, events or clubs like Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), W Lounge (Amsterdam), Citylife (Terneuzen), Niche Club (Ghent), Zanzibar (South Africa) to name a few.

In 2015 a new chapter arrived for Hypnotised managing his label “AH Digital” as well as the start of his producing career. His first EP “People from the Otherworld” immediately topped the charts at No. 4 and the title track later was remixed by No. 1 selling artist Rui Da Silva. Later his EP "Infinity" smashed the Beatport release charts being No. 2 in both the progressive house and trance charts and No. 3 in the techno charts. No big surprise his work was being picked up and supported on Belgium’s best dance radio station Topradio. More recently he was signed on world's voted No.1 DJ, Paul van Dyk's label with "Out Of The Shadows" that became an instant success on the charts and was selected as one of the best new progressive house tracks by Beatport.

In 2016 he also started producing under his alter ego “Man on the Moon” where he launched himself off to a fantastic start with his debut "Sense" being signed on the renowned Bonzai Progressive label, winning one of Metapop’s remix contests and getting support and airplay on Belgium's biggest alternative radio station "Studio Brussel".
