My opening set recorded live at dance:love:hub Xmas Party 2021 - our first party in almost exactly two years after the COVID hiatus. A new venue in West London (Maxilla Hall in Latimer Grove) and, fortunately, most of our faithful crowd, although on the day we were gutted to find that two of our residents (Oli N-Kore and Steve Birch) were unable to play due to COVID so there were voids to fill. Our remaining residents, Jon Cockle and Facade, and two guests, Joe Byrne and Paul van Nukem did us proud and took the roof off as we partied like it was 2019.

Big thanks to Danny Stopani for the inspiration on a couple of these tracks (I highly recommend his Premedicated Music series which you can find here on Soundcloud) and to my favourite melodic techno producer, Alfonso Muchacho for making some killer tracks over lockdown.

This months guest mix comes from trance legend Oberon. With a career dating back to the late 90's, Oberon has played in more than 20 countries including Japan, Canada, Holland, Germany, Australia and of course his native UK. He has also held residencies in all the major underground trance clubs in the UK, including Pendragon, Antiworld, Return To The Source and Escape from Samsara and can boast that he is the only UK DJ to hold a 3 year residency in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Currently the head of A+R at Discover Dark, Oberon recently mixed the massive 100th release cd, as well as a retrospective album of remastered tracks from the early years of his career- Music For Life'.
