I wrote the hook for this song after a girl in high school broke my heart. To be completely fair it was my fault, I was a complete idiot :-) There is a lot to unpack in this piece, generally speaking, the ideas I had about love and relationships back then were completely mad.

About me:
I have lived what I call a charmed life, though if you heard my story you might not see it the same, most don’t. However, I don’t live my life looking backwards. I actually enjoy embracing my past, it made me who I am, without it I wouldn’t be here. I can’t think of a way to avoid the things that make us who we are, so why try. I do feel strongly about one thing, don’t let your past dictate your future. Only one person can tell you how you are going to spend your time on this earth, so decide to spend it well!

I have been writing songs since the age of 13 or 14. I am not an accomplished musician, though I have many instruments, and I play them often. I mostly utilize a guitar or my piano for tone and chord progressions.  Melodies are hard for me at times, the way I hear something in my head is hard for me to lay down in a scratch track, AI has really changed this struggle for song writers like me.
