Hello everyone, I'm Marc Walther.  I play in the indie/rock/pop band Newsense (facebook.com/newsenseofficial) and do rap music/make beats as QuestionMarc (facebook.com/questionmarcmusic) as well.  Here's some of them jams.  Mostly QuestionMarc stuff on here.  Enjoy!

Candy Warpop is a nihilistic storm of art punk and dark psychedelia. Incubated under the debauched neon of Las Vegas, this audacious quartet is unrestrained by conventional musical standards. The raw flow of eccentric creation and kaleidoscopic illustration creates a sonic balancing act on the razor’s edge between beauty and destruction, euphony and dissonance, love and chaos.

I made these songs a good while ago. I was in a very dark, emotionally unstable place (hence 5/6 titles) and once i started moving to a better place, i only recorded one track with a "positive" title. The idea behind these tracks is to be a dual CD album. The first one consisting of negative things in my life. Dark things, bad, evil, any synonym. The second, consisting of the positive, influential, happy things that pulled me out of it or helped me work through these things. The reason it's taken me so long to work on and finish the second half is that i, shortly after finishing these recordings, became a heroin addict, sold all my music equipment piece by piece. I'm now clean, but the point of this isn't to look for pity or fish for compliments or praise. It's to let you all know that i'm ready to finish what i started so that people can know the whole story. I make music for "the People". And yes all of us musicians make music for ourselves. Obviously lol. But i know that it wouldn't make it all worth it, if there wasn't people to share it with. Life is about experience. And through sharing (music, ideas, thoughts, resources, whatever) we learn to grow and better ourselves. So, once i can get a guitar and some type of recording device, know that the second half will be worked on and finished in a timely manner lol. If you are someone who enjoys my tracks, know that i am greatly thankful and appreciative of you and you're one of the reasons i do what i do. Thank you all.

P.S. i changed my name from an alias i was working under to my actual name. Just figured i should throw that in there.

Hello world! im here to post some solo work....i feel like it will be a good way for me to expand and experiement.
