In lockdown, composer Ming Quay wrote a piano elegy for what has happened to the planet, and sent it to an old friend. On the other side of the world, christopher rye responded – on a guitar he had built from pieces of broken, unwanted instruments. As the track was finished, christopher lost his brother to Covid.
