Floor Furnace is an indie rock band booking shows for 2015. A bit of the Kinks, a bit of the Shins, a bit of Entwistle a bit of Mozart. But will it Blend? Yes. It does. Known for putting on a great live performance these boy's have an eclectic sound that varies from the sublime to a downright driving wall of sound.

Christopher Walker is a guitarist and composer, with a degree in Music Composition and Theory from UNM. He formed SHIVA, the heaviest Desert Rock on the planet, in 2001. He is now performing and recording with SHIVA, and The EARTHTONES, an Albuquerque Cool Jazz Trio. Christopher is an instructor of guitar and bass at the New Mexico School of Music.

Cat from Japan is a one man band project created by Ugis Kagainis (LV) started at 2006. He creates music by using only his guitar and voice, colored by analog effects (pedal board), ending into a looping station. Playing allways is improvisation. The structure of songs is made up by recording sounds (lead, base, rithm, solo, voice) into a looper and playing or singing over it. Result allways is different, unpredictable for artist himself, strongly influenced by atmosphere and listeners nearby. Cat from Japan is a live performance artist mainly giving non-frontal concerts at excibitions, art galleryes, event openings/closings, underground stages. Power Altar activates waves of melody and deep beats, with lyrics of self-mastery and non-traditional views of contemporary underground culture.  Her ethereal voice and catchy synth lines make you want to sing along while the beats move your body. She began her musical endeavors as the lead vocalist for No Babies from 2009-2012, during which she toured the US and UK and put out a 12″ LP on Upset the Rhythm.  She sang and played synth in the dark-wave duo project Believe from 2012-2014 with Aja Vision.
