This is the score to my first feature film.
Best Laid Plans is a chilling, claustrophobic thriller centered around a struggling heroin and a trap laid by one of two men, neither of whom she can escape.
This project gave me both the incentive and the freedom to experiment with sounds (like prepared piano) and ensembles (like celli octet and solo contrabass) I hadn't had the chance to explore before on this scale.

Christopher Gentle is an award-winning composer who specializes in music for film and media. He received his Bachelor's Degree for Classical Composition in 2012 and earned his Master's in Classical Composition summer 2016.
He has more than 20 imbd credits to his name, and has scored more than 80 short film projects and a narrative feature.
His musical influences range from classical concert music and film scores, rock, jazz, and electronic music.
