Three piece band with hard hitting original music and popular cover songs 
Based out of Birmingham, Alabama

Tim Umstead - Started playing bass in 1985, played in various bands. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Music from UNA in Florence, Alabama. Desperate Hero is the first band as Lead Vocalist. 

Scott Berg - Drummer since the age of 5. In the 80's was drummer for Southern Comfort, Ricochet and Tyrant. Scott graduated Culinary School at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. and has been a Chef for the last 25 years. Originally from the Washington D.C. Metro area, relocated to Alabama in 1993. The love of playing and writing music caught him again and he became the third and final member of Desperate Hero.

Troy Reid - Proudly served in the United States Navy from 1989-1993 and is a veteran of the first Gulf War.After serving in the military,got an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy.Became actively involved in music again around 2003 as part of a critically acclaimed Progmetal band with current bassist/vocalist Tim Umstead.After several well received,independent releases,the band parted ways with Tim,Scott,and Troy forming Desperate Hero in late 2012.

Lance Carpenter is from Ozark, Arkansas he moved to Nashville, TN in 2011, signed his first publishing deal in 2012, co-wrote Kelsea Ballerini's debut #1 song "Love Me Like You Mean It" and has had cuts but Dylan Scott, Tyler Farr, Richie McDonald of Lonestar, and others. He signed with Toby Keith’s Showdog Nashville in 2017 and released his debut single Anyone Else, a duet with Krystal Keith.  In 2021 he will be releasing a new single each month from a project called “The Demo Sessions”

Flavio Monopoli has collaborated with both signed and indie artists to create imaginative and radio-friendly music. His productions have received international radio play and great reviews! Flavio’s own compositions have been placed in film and television and he maintains an active live drumming schedule with thanks to the ongoing support of Yamaha Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, and Pro-Mark Sticks.

Born in Turlock CA. Jimmy Martin first picked up the guitar at the age of 9 years old, he joined his first band at 14 and went on his first tour by the age of 16. Influenced by many such as Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, all the way to Metallica and black Sabbath there is no limit to what JDM can create. 

With the release of JDM's first instrumental CD "Beyond the stars" many doors have opened and the opportunities keep knocking and with no end in sight JDM plans to release his first single titled "DIPPIN (FEATUING GABRIELLE ROSE) Out April 12th. 

Being well diverse in music also allowed JDM to work with many artist both New and old 
Such as "Tony Valentino" from the standels and has even jammed with "Zack Wylde" 

Jim Martin is without no shadow of a doubt a seriously under the radar producer, songwriter who plays every single element you hear on any of his songs, combined with incredible and heartfelt song writing.
