Born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined dystopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV.

Getting creative in the studio with the likes of Seven Lions, Skrillex, Deadmau5, and Tom Morello, and contributing to film scores and OSTs, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “XXX -Return of Xander Cage” in collaboration with top composer Brian Tyler, Stanczak's long standing career in electronic music never stands still.

About Jane machen akustischen Deutsch-Pop – pur und sehr emotional. Mit Gitarre/ Looper, Cello, Cajon/ Percussion und gefühlvoller Stimme erzählt die Münchner Kombo um Sängerin Caro Barth mal verträumt, mal traurig mit ihrer Musik und ihren Texten von Sehnsüchten, Erinnerungen, Träumen und Begegnungen. Durch ihre Echtheit entsteht eine Nähe die berührt und auf charaktervolle Weise die Emotionen nicht nur hörbar, sondern auch fühlbar macht.

Gestartet sind About Jane vor 3 Jahren sehr minimalistisch mit Michel Karamanovic an der Gitarre und Caro Barth als Singer/Songwriter. Nach kurzer Zeit stieß dann Alexander Meister als Schlagzeuger dazu und mittlerweile vervollständigt Miriam Brenner am Cello die Band auf wunderbare Weise. Weitere Studioproduktionen und ein Videodreh sind für dieses Jahr gesetzt – 2 Songs wurden bereits produziert von Alex Klier ( u.a. Produzent von Sportfreunde Stiller, Ärzte u.v.a.) Diese Band macht Lust einzutauchen – in die Geschichten „About Jane“.
