Pedro Mercado & Karada: "Cosmic Acid: The Remixes" by Tash, Hannes Wiehager, Zacharias Tiempo, Exhile & Frolicsome !!!

When we released the "Lost In Acid" EP from our label manager Pedro Mercado in the beginning of this year, we were overwhelmed by the amazing feedbacks on one of the B-side tracks: "Cosmic Acid", a collab of Pedro with his fixed studio partner Karada, which is build around some amazing typical timeless old school acid melodies. So we decided to give this track a proper release and asked 4 profilic and diverse artists to give their contemporary interpretation of the original. We are sure that every DJ will find at least one version that will fit in their sets!

We kick off with a fantastic progressive house remix by Tassos Papagiannoulis, known as Tash, who is without any doubt one of the most important artists in Greece concerning Electronic Music. As founder of the mighty Movement Recordings he really needs no further introduction.

The second interpreation comes out of Sweden and is from Hannes Wiehager, the upcoming Melodic House & Techno Producer / DJ / Sound Designer from Stockholm. Hannes drew our attention by making his debut recently on some of our favourite labels such as Lowbit, Stripped, Area Verde & Project13.

Also the third remixer is from Scandinavia: Zacharias Tiempo, a Helsinki native who found his passion for house and techno in the London underground scene. He brought back that energy to Finland and transposed it upon the Helsinki soundscape. Zacharias is also the man behind the Kontact label and quickly became one of Finland's most sought after artists.

And last but not least we have a remix duo from the Basque Country in Spain. Inaki Cerqueira aka Exhile, currently residing in Berlin and the man behind the label SomeDay Lab, teams up with his amigo Frolicsome. Together they already appeared on labels such as MIR, Project13 & Beatfreak.
